they did call him a cracker ass and black ppl alwaysssss talk shit about white people im glad he said that but all it will do is make the african american community whine and cry so i kinda wish he hadnt done it.

You sir, are a dumb ass. Make the African American community whine? Speaking on behalf of EVERYONE in general, racism pisses people the hell off, and ignorance gives ANYONE a reason to complain. There's a difference between slavery jokes and making jokes about Black people being on CPT or such. I don't care how pissed he is/was. The anger just provoked him to tell how he really felt. When I get mad at someone, I don't go around screaming out racial slurs, why? I'm not a fucking racist. Apparently, you are, and if you aren't, but you SUPPORT racism, you are JUST as bad.

And here are some other points I have to address.

1. You use the term Black people and African Americans interchangeably, speaking as a Black American who is NOT African American, not all Black people are African American.

2. All Black people DO NOT sit around all day long talking about White people. I probably talk about White people more than any of my friends and that's because my boyfriend is White and i'm talking about his ass, lol. We don't have secret meetings where we hate on White people.

3. If there are a group of Black people somewhere talking shit about yo' lame ass, then maybe it's because you're the dumb ass that you portrayed yourself to be at this very moment. Hopefully, they beat the hell out of you one of these days.

That is all.
Thanks.
Sorry for the anger, ignorance brings it out of me.

LMAO. When I saw this I immidietly started thinkin of a scene in Family guy. It's a meeting with blacks only and the leader says something like this: "Ok, it's established, we pretend to like cornbread (I think) to fool the white people" or something like that. I always LMAO at that. :)

another thing about all this... usually, if u've seen enough comedy shows... when some jerk in the audience "heckles" the comic, comics usually talk trash back to the heckler... thats not uncommon... usually its just to get them to shutup. its usually done in a way that makes the rest of the audience laugh at the heckler...

I think that Richards just wasnt quick witted enough to come up with anything... so he went for racism which wasnt really funny... if done right, im sure racism could be funny... but not the way he handled it..

Jerry seinfeld mentioned somewhere, that when he gets heckled, he usually just lets the other person talk, then they realize all these people are staring at em, so then they shut up..
wish i could see the whole show and see what they said to piss him off, but whatever they said, he didn't handle it right... and now people like letterman, leno, chris rock, et al. have loads of material to work with...

Richards should just blame it all on BORAT hehe

i think that he was trying to do a joke...
Was the KKK in the audience? I musta missed that. He himself called it vile and disgusting on Letterman. He said he needs to work on himself; he didn't say on his jokes. He knows where that shit came from. And if everyone in the club and the media, except the hecklers, laughed it off, you think he would be all regretful and upset now? Hell, no.

my perception of black people got broken in pieces after i read this :(
LMAO, hush up you

But the thing is, there are "funny" race jokes and then there's just plain crossing the line. Yeah, Black comedians make fun of White people, but it's about like dancing or something. I, personally don't think anything is wrong with that. That's a joke. Just like if a White comedian said something about Black people and chicken, nothing would be wrong with that, it would be a long standing joke. What he said took it waaay to far. No way could that be considered a joke.

Answer me these questions three:

What do these three things have in common?

(a) The White House
(b) The White Cliffs of Dover
(c) Michael Richards

Michael Richards was as funny as...

(a) Child abduction
(b) Cancer
(c) Lethal injection

What did we learn today?

(a) Kill Whitey
(b) Kill Whitey
(c) Kill Whitey

i think his point is that Fat Joe isn't black and says 'nigga' and isnt considered racist... The reason being is simply that he probably isnt using the word to be racist.... it's like Jackie Chan saying "whats up my nigga?" in rush hour... he's not using it to be racist.... have ya'll seen Pauly Shore is Dead? There's a scene where he's in jail and is tryin to hang with a black set and he's like "What'z up my nigga? my niggas? Can I be yo nigga?" or some b.s. like that.... he's not saying it to be racist, he just doesnt know any better....

Better yet, watch Gridlock'd and check out that one scene where Tim Roth is callin Bokim Woodbine a nigga... The way Richards used it was pretty bad...Not only that word, but the line he mentions about "50 years ago, WE'D have you upside down with a fork in your ass"... hmmm..... who'd he mean by "we"? him and his clan members?
