There's an enormous difference between a black comedian saying things like "white people can't dance" and what Michael Richards did.

a lot of black comedians get really racist towards whites and i dont remember a scandal like that

I think it wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be. Was he out of line? Yes. Was he still funny? Yes. I don't really think he meant the things that he said. There's no difference between this and Jesse Jackson saying "Kyketown", except this was funny.
