How do you know this? I've seen many stand ups when someone interrupts they keep the comic flow, that's what he was doing. He was being a comedian with honesty spewing out of his mouth, stop going against his actions.

I guess its a personal thing, but generally you can tell someones intention of what they say by the tone that they say it in. If he was joking he would have sounded alot less pissed off and a lot more funny. I tend to think he was pissed off coz what the guy said hit home (coz its true) and he couldnt handle it. I still think he meant every word.
