A Time to Kill was one of two movies that almost made me forgive Joel Schumacher for making Batman and Robin. The other one is Falling Down, with Michael Douglas. Anybody seen this movie, a right-winged war vet, stuck in gridlocked traffic, decides to go "home", leaves his car in traffic, and goes through LA, trashing Korean grocery stores for high prices, attacking a pair of Mexican gang members for "territorial disputes", and holding up a fast-food restaurant because he missed breakfast by a few minutes. Everything he did in that movie has been thought of by at least one of us in here as ("Damn, I'd like to do that shit,"), guaranteed. "I'm just standing up for my rights as a consumer."
