first quarter thoughts:

* arenas's at 17/7 and the wiz are shooting 68%. the wiz play mediocre D but the warriors pay none, ha. the wiz just gotta ram it down their throats.
* you can't judge a team's future at all by a game against the warriors but this should be good for the squad's confidence.
* dunno why flip started deshawn... wtf is the point of a defensive specialist in an inevitable shootout?
* oh, yeah, monta ellis, that's why. he didn't get going until they took deshawn out and put nick young on him. flip should get randy foye in there instead, imo.
* stephen curry is good.

ROFL at the tweet.

Stu Jackson (@angrysocialist), the NBA's Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, announced today that Bucks rookie Brandon Jennings(notes) (@YUNGBUCK3) has been fined $7,500 for posting a message on his Twitter account following Milwaukee's (@Bucks) double overtime win over Portland (@pdxtrailblazers) last weekend.

Jennings was fined for the timing of his post, not the content.

RT @Associated Press: According to the NBA's social media policy, players cannot tweet during game time, defined as beginning 45 minutes before the game starts and ending after players have finished talking to the media following the game.

As you can imagine, Jennings is somewhat confused: "I understand I got fined, but 7500? For being happy over a win, you would of thought I said something bad. I mean it was a big win for us."

That it was, rook. And now you'll fined an additional $7,500 for tweeting about an "illegal" tweet.

My advice: Quit while your behind.

what rule did he break exactly? did he tweet in the locker room or something? the nba is pretty... stupid.

second quarter thoughts:

* dominic mcguire and earl boykins (it's like trying to tango at a dive club) are also individuals who do not need to be in this game. flip fucked up with the second unit. his rotations have been making me :/ all season.
* second game in a row where jamison's gone down. this dude needs shoulder pads. fuck.
* i was about to say all sorts of nice things about anthony randolph but his inbounds fuckup was really stupid.
* i just saw brendan haywood and vladimir radmanovic both look like offensive forces. madness.

It was to punish Chalmers, lol.
Only reason he plays well with the PR team is because he is an NBA player and they aren't...it's like if Tayshaun Prince played for UK again, he would look like a god because his talent surpasses all of them.

Nate Robinson's agent revealed Saturdaythat he has asked the Knicks to trade his client, who has been buried on Mike D'Antoni's bench for eight straight games.

"I can't allow Nate to rot on Mike's bench and not do anything about it. I can't allow this to happen to his career," Aaron Goodwin told the Daily News in a telephone interview. "It's clear that Mike D'Antoni doesn't want to play him."

Robinson's diminished role has been a brewing controversy since D'Antoni first benched the point guard against the Magic on Dec.2, a game the Knicks lost, 118-104, in Orlando. But it may not be the only personnel problem on the coach's hands
his trade value decreased since being benched. what team really fits his style of play?
