Bynum is out with a messed up tendon. Maybe the Lakers can get back into the Championship groove with Gasol playing in the middle like he did the last two year while Bynum was out.

^That's true, but i'd rather have Gasol over Bynum in the middle. Gasol is more skilled at the center position, and has more weapons.

lol at nba jam. i remember playing it on genesis. my cousins knew the bill clinton code and i think sub-zero from mortal kombat was in it too. it sucks jordan was never in that game.

the new one doesnt look that good, it kind of looks like a quickly put together game just for the $$$.

Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni has fired back at rookie Jordan Hill, who claimed that he was buried on the bench during his tenure in New York.

Jordan was not in plenty of computer games during his era. Apparently the licensing issues and some contracts he signed prevented him from appearing in them. I remember NBA Live 2000 had Jordan in it. There were some other games on the genesis/snes generation that Jordan appeared in. They weren't too memorable.

Its definitely put together to make a quick buck. The things they do to consumers these days. This is where advocates for computer game piracy love to stick it them.

Gil Zero texting his team mates, ha!! Technology always comes around and bites you in the a$$. If you've been in a relationship, you'd know better than to try cover up a possible (at the time) gun charge by sending a text message about it to team mates.

That was awesome!! It was just at the right moment and the look on Lewis face was priceless. Then the coach let him have it during the press conference. Gotta feel bad for Vince though. He's 5 straight points brought his team back into the game, only to lose by a pure lack of team effort.

Talking of dunks, that Amare Stoudamire video is insane. The fact that it happened in an away arena for him makes it even more special. Who the hell is that #44? Even Yak referred to him as the guy that got dunked on. LOL!! at the way he sets up to launch for the block only to end up as youtube highlight

lol yea i think the turbo edition of nba jam has the bill clinton code. last i heard mj wants a lot of money to be in the game. he sued nba live for using his name. i remember him them having jordan vs bird/ jordan vs magic type of games.

i dont know why a lot of coaches are scared to play rookies. if you dont play em they wont develop into the player they can be (excluding kwame brown and chandler cuz theyre still ass).

i remember dantoni and walsh saying that they plan to develop their rookies/young talent instead they trade them away along with draft picks for expiring. what makes them so sure theyre getting a big time free agent?

honestly if they dont sign at least 2 solid free agents, the franchise is done.

shit, even isiah thomas had some nice draft picks (lee,arize,nate, d.lee. frye,chandler). the new management hasnt picked any solid players with the exception of gallinari. i was pissed when they didnt draft jennings. he would be perfect in a up tempo style with his pass skills.

Now it's looking like Phoenix Suns forward Amar'e Stoudemire(notes) is going to opt out of the last year of his contract this summer and become a free agent, according to NBA.com. He's been on top of his game recently and has an average of 22.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game so far this season.

That should be enough to convince some team to spend $17 million or more for him next year and into the future. Stoudemire would be giving up that much next season from the Suns if he decides to opt out of the contract this summer.

"It's definitely a great time. The timing is perfect as far as being a free agent. But it doesn't determine whether I stay or not," he recently told reporters who informed him that it sounded like he was opting out. He apparently then smiled and repeated himself.

So long, Amar'e. Next time you see him he'll be in the line with LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade, Joe Johnson and all the rest, waiting on massive contract offers.

It's gonna be a great summer. Amare to the Knicks?
