Rose.

Also, Fuck Miami. You have a team with two of the best young players int he league and you still have empty seats in the front rows... Fuck that franchise.
My thoughts exactly. Spoiled ass fuckers.

It's as cool to hate them now as much as the Lakers though.

and Lakers... last .1 second loss was horrible! but they deserved to lose if they let the other team shoot so many damn baskets at the end of the last 22 secs.

I think someone mentioned on this thread there is so much to do in Miami besides watch the Heat play? Then again that applies to all the other major cities across the USA. Heck.....I'd go and watch Wade & Lebron play if I was in Miami. For obvious reasons Staples Center doesn't have empty front row seats when the Lakers play. On that note, next time the Celtics play at Staples, someone should send Matt Damon and his Celtics loving a$$ up to the nosebleeds. I'm sure he'll meet some real Lakers fans up there :D

I say Lebron is a strong MVP candidate now but, Derek Rose is having a good season as well.

Lakers certainly aren't playing like the team to beat. Its anyone's guess how they'll play against the Celtics tonight. The only reason they're still in the news is coz of the played out Carmelo trade talk.

Jackson, who said he is not always consulted in the trade process by Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak and vice president Jim Buss anyway, declared his confidence in his team as it's currently constructed. "I still think when they're playing their best, they're the best team in the league," Jackson said.

Just saw this a few mins ago. I did see Tim making his prediction, didn't know it would turn out to be this funny :D

The Pistons beat the Cavaliers on Wednesday night 103-94 to extend Cleveland’s losing streak. After the game, several of their players said a prediction that the Cavs would win by ESPN NBA analyst Tim Legler motivated them.

In an interview with Rachel Nichols after the game, Tracy McGrady said “Tim Legler, we heard you. You gave us some bulletin-board material. We used that.” According to reporter Chris Iott via Ben Maller, “The Pistons watched a video of Legler making the prediction shortly before the opening tip.” Additionally, Tayshaun Prince and Ben Wallace also mentioned Legler’s prediction as motivation for them.
Cavs are getting beat up after having such a good start. I wonder what changed from last season.

How can you beat the Celtics then lose to the Cavs?
Ain't that some sh!t.

EDouble, careful which version you buy as some of them have snippets of his greatest games. The proper edition has the full version of these games:

- 1986 1st round, Game 2 playoffs vs Boston (63 points)
- 1990 game vs Cavs (69 points)
- 1993 Finals Game 4vs Suns (55 points)
- 1997 Finals Game 5 vs Jazz (flu game)
- 1998 Finals Game 6 vs Jazz (last shot)

I don't know how to differentiate them when bought online.

Bieber had 8 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds for the West team, which lost 54-49 to the East at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen led the East team with 17 points in a game whose defensive highlight might have been Pippen's third-quarter block of Bieber.
I didn't see the block, but it has earned Pip the MVP in my books. Bieber had an impressive stat line tho.....hehehe. Now my fav part of this weekend: the kicks.

Wade, Ray Allen and Joe Johnson:

Air Jordan kicks fell off over the past few years focusing on performance rather than style. The shoes were amazing when playing hoops but didn't turn any heads if you wore them off the court. (Yeah.......I know functionality matters more). This year they just might be on to something, I'm loving the style on these.

^I agree. I'll cop them when they go on sale later in the year, no way I'm spending $170 on a shoe.

I think the whole All Star weekend was a huge success for the NBA. It turned out great, the All Star game was amazing. Lebron went into beast mode, single handedly brought the East back into the game. No wonder the Cavs were a winning team last season, one great player does make a difference to a basketball club. The final minutes of the 4th quarter were intense!! Lebron was a clear MVP candidate without a doubt. Either way #24 gave the haters plenty to whine about:

Then this:

Live it up one more time:

MAMBA!! :D
