The Official NBA Thread 2011-12

Are you talkin about when Kobe was blocked by turkoglu & he called timeout? If you are, Orlando had advanced the ball to midcourt... otherwise they wouldn't have got that great opportunity to win the game at the end.

Yeah at the very end of the 4th, the ball was basically at the baseline on LA's end.

Good to see Art is enjoying the series

na i think u can doi it on a rebound but once u dribble the ball you lose the oppertunity to get the ball advanced to halfcourt. i may be wrong lol

and lol at the pic
yea, that makes sense... that's why you see fools going up for rebounds and calling time outs right away. Otherwise you have to go past halfcourt to call a time out & get the ball at halfcourt.

Seems like a silly rule to me.. :)

Anyone got a still-frame of Kobe after he missed the winning shot? When he sat on the bench next to Phil the way he looked at Kobe was hilarious..

^haha, Phil looked at Kobe the way a parent looks at their child throwing a hissy fit. He was just kinda smiling thinking "hopefully you didn't think that was a foul you little bitch because Turkoglu cleanly swatted your shit." no, that's what i was thinking.

adam morrison is done in the nba. jj reddick has a future as a role player, i think... his d is unfairly maligned.

Nah, Morrison's got potential still, he just had a bad injury, get him rehab'd in the gym. and a couple of years in the D-League. Adam can be a good fit for any team. Can he be a starter in the NBA?? no. but he could easily be a 6th or 7th man.

he wont be the next Kwame Brown thats for sure.

My sources say that Rasheed Wallace and the Cavs are beginning talks on a two-year deal worth about $10 million per for the services of the former Piston. The move and negotiations were inspired by Dwight Howard’s dominant performance over Cleveland’s big men in the Eastern Conference Finals. And Wallace will be brought in for that very purpose, to neutralize Dwight Howard next season and help the Cavs get over the hump.

This supports what we previously reported about what it will take for Sheed to come back next year.

If this signing falls through, I’m hearing that Cleveland may do a sign and trade with the Clippers for Zach Randolph, which certainly makes sense for the Clippers since they are taking Blake Griffin No. 1 overall.
would be a good pick if its sheed

^lol, hope they can keep his temper down.

Howard would still dominate over Sheed...

and Howard wasn't the only one damaging them, do they not remember the three point shooting?
True, Sheed is getting old. Howard is still learning and still adding more to his game. He'd dominate the middle unless they threw double teams at him, but then the 3 point shooters would kill.
