Sandwiches

Have you ever done any extensive research on this? Or is this just one of those things every master chef knows?

You could also see vegetarian dishes as a challenge. I think if the first recommendations you have for vegetarians are 'pizza' and 'pasta' (replace meat with something) you're not very familiar with cooking outside of the traditional dishes. Taking away meat and fish limits your options but with the countless ingredients available you're still able to prepare shit and shitloads of dishes.

Versatility in a chef is good.

Vegetarians aren't real eaters, they are dining idealists. Go on and have a salad cheese sandwich, but really I don't see the point. Like I don't see vegetarian take away outlets.

Tomatoes are just nasty, they don't belong in sandwiches. Better cooked or made into tomato ketchup. Cheese and tomato ketchup on toast matbe.

(smoked) Bacon, fried egg, cheese, + mary rose sauce = mmmmmmmmm

Actually the Yeshua hate on vegetarians is pretty fucking funny.

"Vegetarians aren't real eaters, they are dining idealists."

That belongs in a movie. The truth there is so great.

If you think of a "salad cheese sandwich" when you hear "vegetarian dish" you're showing what a limited chef you really are. I'm guessing that you don't know any foreign dishes either... except for pizza and pasta. Just the regular meat/fish + potato + salad type of stuff you get at every single restaurant, which would explain your hatred (difficulty) for cooking vegetarian meals.

Some of your heroes on vegetarianism:

Plato:

"The gods created certain kinds of beings to replenish our bodies...
they are the trees and the plants and the seeds."

Socrates:

"The highest realms of thought are impossible to reach
without first attaining an understanding of compassion"

I don't want to turn this into another vegetarian thread (I'll delete posts if they do) but if you don't see the point in vegetarianism you should brush up on the philosophy that you claim to know.

^Well that thread is closed.

So I am going to ask my simple question yet again until you are tired of flexing that mod muscle of yours.

So veggies, why do you choose not to eat meat?

Are you kidding me? What kind of juvenile crap is this. I could play that game but it's not about "flexing my mod muscle", it's about moderating. If you can't respect that I won't bother since you'll just keep posting.

And that thread being closed doesn't matter. The answers are there, in detail.

^It's the the kind of juvenile crap that wins you the battle, sir.

Now, you may answer my question. Why do you choose not to eat any meat? Is it because of the taste or you simple believe in all life forms being sacred.

I see...
Vegetarians do me a favor and don't answer him. You may have won the battle but you have not yet won the war!

I'm hungry.
