That's an interesting theory about the age we stop seeking new music. I think I did stop when I was about 28 or so, 8 years ago. Then I had to force myself to try and listen to new (to me) artists and genres.I use Apple Music. Not perfect but more orderly than Spotify.
Research says most people generally stop seeking new music around their early 30s. It's like your brain decides your mental music playlist is full and you just stick with that.
