08:19 AM ET 06.04 | Pau Gasol is being driven by a long memory. [Gasol] never forgets the way Kevin Garnett belittled and humiliated him, treating the European's arrival to the NBA as an invitation to berate him with sharp words and sharper elbows. Gasol hates Garnett for it, they will tell you. There's a visceral disdain that's stayed with the Los Angeles Lakers star, an obsession that goes beyond beating Garnett, but embarrassing him. When Gasol grabbed a rebound over Garnett late in the Lakers' 102-89 Game 1 victory, missed a shot, grabbed the ball again and laid it into the basket, he couldn't help himself. Out of nowhere, out of character, Gasol flexed his arms and screamed into the Staples Center din. It was an unmistakable mimic of K.G., a sarcastic ode to a bully he vows will never take his lunch money again.
no more bitchmade. garnetts needs to get embarrassed the way he continuously taunts players.

^^I saw the story about Wooden on Sportscenter. I'd never heard of him before but, you learn something new everyday. Actually, I heard about him a day before he passed on as they were reporting he was in hospital. They kind of broke the story like they had been tipped that he wasn't going to make it. Even went as far as giving a quote he made about death. Weird journalism.

ESPN are so loving the Gasol story, screw them and their 'Pro-Celtics' propaganda. It's all about how the Celtics are going to come out guns blazing for Game 2. If win, they'll say Celtics split the series as planned, Game 1 was just a slip up. If Lakers win Game 2, they'll be saying the Celtics are headed to Boston to do what they have to do: win at home. I remember how they were all over the Celtics in 2008, they had it wrapped up even before it started. Then last year they were all about Lebron and he didn't make the finals.

Having said that, I'd still totally do Rachel Nichols and her Celtics loving a$$.

Man you've never heard of Wooden? wow. I guess you get the pass cus you're from Kenya lol.

Gasol needs to chill and let his game talk, so far he is but KG still has some game in him.

Those shoes are even better now.

The thing with Phil and Chris wasn't between Phil and Chris. Phil told one of the camera men to move and give him his room.

Game 2 is only a couple hours away, yeahhhh

This is really weird but I had a dream that Artest fouled out on some bullshit calls lol, seriously

LOL! Imagine if you had $500 in hand to give to any Kenyan that knew him. If you walked the streets of Nairobi with a film crew, and asked Kenyans who Wooden was, you'd hang on to it for a really looooong time before you awarded it to anyone. Just don't try it now, I think the news is out there already. Anyway, I could tell he was VIP from the coverage he got.

That's a funny dream about Artest. I'm hitting the sack now, I'll wake up 5 mins before the game tips off. By then it will be 2:55am here.............zzzzz
