Damn, i thought the Spurs would be up there with the Lakers with all the talk that was said when they got Jefferson. Maybe they'll tighten it up in the 2nd half of the season.
yea jefferson was playing like a vagina. lately he stepped up his game. i dont think the spurs will catch the lakers for the best record. main goal for the spurs is to be healthy for the playoffs.

from what i've gathered, arenas, crittenton and some teammates were indeed playing a card game on the flight back from phoenix, and both crittenton and arenas were coming up on the losing end, but arenas didn't owe $25,000, and the amount wasn't owed to crittenton, but to javale mcgee. Arenas bailed on the game unhappy with the rules, and crittenton was left to pay the pot, much to his displeasure, so he was trying earnestly to get arenas to pay his part. Tempers flared during this dispute and i'm told crittenton wanted to fight arenas for backing out of paying up. arenas, meanwhile, said he would burn crittenton's car, and crittenton said he would shoot arenas in his bad left knee.

gilberts keep saying the media twisting the story or making it up and i believe the wizards office agreed with gilberts statment.

damn spurs took an L to the raptors.... they dont even play defense.

latest on Gasol:

EL SEGUNDO, California (AP)—Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol(notes) of Spain has a mild to moderate strained left hamstring and is doubtful for Tuesday night’s game against Houston.

The Lakers said Monday that Gasol was examined by the team doctor and an ultrasound test and MRI showed the strain he sustained in Sunday night’s win over the Dallas Mavericks. He started and played seven minutes before leaving the game.

Gasol is listed as day-to-day.

He missed the season’s first 11 games with a strained right hamstring.
Smh, i hope artest will be back for the rockets.

Yo, arenas says that shit was a joke? lol. Trying to change up the story.

^i believe arenas. he does stupid things like that lol. he once had to buy donuts for the team and he licked of all the sugar powder and put on baby powder lol(warrior at the time).

javaris said he'll shoot him in his messed knee LOL gil took out his 3 heaters and told him to pick one. obviously javaris didnt see this a joke lol.

^Yea i laughed hard when i read that he would shoot him in his knee. lol.

The Utah Jazz have had a pretty disappointing season thus far and as a result, fans of the team shouldn't expect the roster after the trading deadline to be too similar to the one they currently see.

The word from Yahoo! Sports' Marc Spears is that every single member of the team is on the trading block, except for point guard Deron Williams(notes).

Carlos Boozer(notes) is making $12.6 million this year in the last year of his contract will certainly attract the most interest and the team would love to unload him but no serious talks have taken place just yet.
I'd build around Deron. The rest of the team is worthless, except Boozer, but you can get good pieces for him.

Milwaukee Bucks star Michael Redd(notes) wants to start fresh somewhere else, according to HoopsWorld. He's only played 15 games this season and 33 last year due to injuries so he's don't blame him if he's a little out of step with his teammates.

While it seems that Redd should just be happy to be playing, the guy is now saying that he wants to play with a team that's going to go all the way. "My thing is, I want to win," he told HoopsWorld. "I want to win regardless of anything else. I want to win, to play on a contender." Join the club, Michael.

Redd goes on to say that he felt like the team blew a prime chance when it was on an 8-3 run earlier in the season and then started losing games. "We've got to get back to where we were at the beginning of the season and keep fighting," he says.

It's not likely that other teams are clamoring for Redd right now since it doesn't appear that he's fully back to his old self. Since returning to the team, he's shooting just 35% from the field and averaging 12.1 points per game.

He does say that he'd like his championship run to come with Milwaukee but that is looking pretty unlikely this year.
to the spurs? haha. Maybe the rockets would trade for him, but they aint no contender. I wonder what'll happen.
