Just got back from watching the Nuggets barely beat the Warriors. What a crazy game. Our seats were like 3 rows behind the Warriors bench was real tight. Some of em complimented me on my throwback A's jersey lol. For a game missing Chauncey and Melo it was a lot better than i thought it was going to be. I'm going to see em play Orlando next wednesday so it better live up to this game.

Ty Lawson got injured twoards the end of the game and Nene had a little problem but he came back in, Nuggets better hope they dont get anymore injuries, they need to be deeeep if they want to try to take down the Mighty Lakeshow.

gilbert arenas suspended indefinately according to espn news

The NBA has fired back at Gilbert Arenas.
The league suspended the embattled Washington Wizards sharpshooter this afternoon indefinately and without pay, officials said.
The suspension comes as Arenas could be hit with felony weapons charges that carry heavy prison time for bringing guns across state lines.
ARENAS MOCKS GUN PLAY ON COURT
The Wizards star would face up to five years behind bars for each of the four pistols that he turned over to team security after the Dec. 21 lock er-room dustup with team mate Javaris Crittenton.
One of the guns Arenas copped to bringing to the Verizon Center from his Virginia home, in violation of DC gun statutes, was a gold-plated Magnum Desert Eagle, the hulking weapon of choice for the villainous agents in "The Matrix."

Washington's strict gun laws only permit residents to have guns and they generally must be kept in the home.
The Post first reported last week that Arenas had threatened a teammate with the guns inside the DC locker room following a card game.
Arenas is in the second year of a six-year, $111 million contract that could go up in smoke if the team invokes a morals clause in the pact. Also, the league's collective bargaining agreement specifically bans guns from NBA facilities.
On Monday, Arenas issued an apology, saying, "Joke or not, I now recognize that what I did was a mistake and was wrong," he said. "I should not have brought the guns to DC in the first place, and I now realize that there's no such thing as joking around when it comes to guns -- even if unloaded."

NBA hands Wizards' Arenas indefinite suspension over gun incident - washingtonpost.com

The dispute between Arenas and Crittenton began on the team plane during a popular card game between players called "Boo-ray." Crittenton lost roughly $1,100 to JaVale McGee, a Wizards center, in the game, according to a player who watched the game and who also spoke on condition of anonymity. Crittenton, already angry over a dispute over the game's rules, became irate when Arenas began needling him.

Their barbs escalated to a point where Arenas, smiling, said he would blow up Crittenton's car, according to two players on the flight, who requested anonymity. Crittenton replied that he would shoot Arenas in his surgically repaired knee.

Walking into the locker room by himself two days after the dispute on the team plane, according to two witnesses, Arenas laid out the guns in Crittenton's locker. Two other teammates eventually sauntered in and, while Arenas was writing the note in front of Crittenton's cubicle, in walked Crittenton, according to their account.

Asking Arenas what he was doing, Arenas replied, "If you want to shoot me, I'd just thought I'd make it easy for you." As other teammates laughed, Crittenton crumpled up the paper, tossed one of Arenas's guns across the room, where it bounced in front of a team trainer, and said he didn't need any of Arenas' firearms because he had his own, according to the witness accounts.

Crittenton then drew his weapon, loaded the clip into the chamber and cocked the bar, the witnesses said.

Neither witness said the gun was ever pointed at Arenas, but both said Crittenton began singing as he held the gun.

Arenas began laughing, the witnesses said, telling Crittenton, "Look at that little shiny gun," as two other players slowly retreated to the training room.

Arenas eventually followed. By the time the players came back out, Crittenton was gone.

wtf, that's some bs. They said Crittenton was singing with the gun in his hand, what could he be singing? lol.

I think it was a joke, but why would Javaris load it and cock the bar? I thought the gun was unloaded.

Lakers suck. I'm a clippers fan now.

sike.

A day after I call for fictional detectives Bunk and McNulty to help figure out this wild Wizards locker room incident, the TMZ reports that the gun "standoff" between Gilbert Arenas(notes) and Javaris Crittenton(notes) may have been caught on tape by surveillance cameras.
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. i wanna seee it!

TMZ's report:

"We're told the Washington Wizards have told D.C. cops they have locker room surveillance video but are having trouble downloading it. The Geek Squad — aka computer-savvy detectives — are going to the Wizards organization today to help.

And get this — a source connected with the investigation tells TMZ the Wizards have been 'over cooperative' with cops — as the source says, 'almost as if they want Arenas to go down.'"
Ouch, they doin his ass wrong. That's some fucked up shit.

the wizards are freaking gilbert. they knew they shouldve never given that huge ass contract after that surgery (sign and trade GMs, simple as that).

if they void his contract does he automatically become a free agent or he gotta go thru some process?

also, gils teammates who participated in the gun joke before the sixers will get fined 25gz.

^arenas is regretting everything.

originally, stern was gonna wait til the legal process was over but he felt disrepected when arenas was doing the little gun shooting thing before the sixers game. thats why i think nuthin has happend to delonte west when he was rollin with 3 loaded guns on a motorcycle like hes terminator.

hopefully his contract gets terminated and the spurs sign him after his suspension lol.
