^Wrong.

Had Iverson been 8 inches taller, he would be playing SG/SF positions (Or if he was bulky, he'd be PF) intead of the PG position that made him so "great." He wouldn't have grown as the best PG around with all the hype, support, criticism that made him so popular since his early days. Who knows how his game would have developed as a SG/SF/PF had he grown 8 inches taller. He could have been a big disappointment.

About his heart, lol, his heart can never be in the same talks as that of Kobe and Michael, because Iverson simply has never won a championshp. Did his heart come up short? Did he not have enough passion to beat the Lakers in the championship? Or was it that he didn't have enough practice. lol.

Whatever it may be, 'trying' to guard Kobe, and crossing over Jordan aren't good enough to classify him as the player with the most heart. Over Kobe and Jordan? Never.

Peace

iverson wanted to win so bad that in the end it hurt him. he couldnt play with other players who need the ball also. hes a great scorer and did amazing things with his height.

Much, much, much more media outlets and marketing in NY.
All the players' money isn't made on their contracts. In fact, they can easily make much more money through endorsements and such than they ever could in a contract. Didn't Nike give LeBron like 90 mill before he ever touched an NBA basketball?
LeBron is unhappy with the management in Cleveland.
get off new york's dick. as far as media exposure goes, the cavs are going to be on national tv 25 times next season. the knicks? five. the cameras will follow lebron almost everywhere he goes and nike (ya know - that titan of marketing based on THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE COUNTRY AS NEW YORK) beside him, too. the only way he could get more media exposure was if he had a chinese conjoined twin.

and you're right about nike, they gave lebron a shitload of money as a kid. so if you're a guy who would say no to a max deal (lol) despite repeatedly telling the media you want to be a billionaire and taking advice from the likes of jay-z and warren buffet, what you want from your team instead is the chance to win rings (and you're crazy if you think lebron wants anything else more right now in his life) and the knicks won't be able to assemble a roster good enough to win a championship with.

i'm LOLing at the idea of lebron being unhappy with the management that gave him mo williams and 66 wins last year and just added shaq, jason kapono, and good guy leon powe. if he's unhappy with that, you think the fiasco that's madison square garden is going to make him smile?

yeah, there's NEVER been a great, tall, athletic point guard.

you mean like carmelo anthony, whose shot attempts increased after lebron came to denver?

the offense was runined by iversons acquisition
stop lying. in AI's only full season there they won 50 games for the first time in 20 years in one of the roughest conference races in memory and scored 110 pts/game on 47% shooting as a team while playing the fastest pace in the NBA.

regular season is overrated(yes u need to play well to make it to the playoffs). nuggets wouldve been fine with andre miller runnin the point. iverson shot like 35% in the playoffs and 25% from the 3pt line(yes the rest also played like ass). basically iverson and rest of the bustaz didnt show up when it mattered til billups entered the scene.

Tell that to Jameer Nelson.

basically iverson and rest of the bustaz didnt show up when it mattered til billups entered the scene.
Let me rephrase that for you:

"With AI, the Nuggets got stomped by the conference champion Lakers. In the face of elimination, AI shot 45%. Without AI and with a healthy Nene, Chauncey Billups, and Chris Andersen, the Nuggets still got stomped by the conference champion Lakers. In the face of elimination, Mr. Big Shot Chauncey Billups shot 28.5%."

ill also tell it to mo williams

nuggets r more competitve with billups, u cant deny this. they blew two games becuz of terrible passes. with iverson they got knocked out in the first round.

get off new york's dick.
righttttt, because I said two things about New York? Get off LeBron's dick.
as far as media exposure goes, the cavs are going to be on national tv 25 times next season. the knicks? five.
And if LeBron went to New York, do you think they would nationally broadcast 25 Cavs' games? Fuck. No. They wouldn't. Do you think they would broadcast significantly more New York games? Yes. Yes they would.
Also, there are other forms of media than just television. How many national radio shows are there in Cleveland? Not near as many as New York. LeBron would get more exposure in New York. More jerseys would be purchased. New York would sell more tickets. David Stern would mold it into another New York dynasty. Cavs' would suck. Again. Like every other year they've been in the NBA.

and you're right about nike, they gave lebron a shitload of money as a kid. so if you're a guy who would say no to a max deal (lol) despite repeatedly telling the media you want to be a billionaire and taking advice from the likes of jay-z and warren buffet, what you want from your team instead is the chance to win rings (and you're crazy if you think lebron wants anything else more right now in his life) and the knicks won't be able to assemble a roster good enough to win a championship with.
So I say that NBA players make money from endorsements, and you reply with this, like it's an argument? You kinda just backed up everything I just said. Holy shit, roaches agrees with someone. Quick, change your mind before you look like a conformist!

So you go from "LeBron wants nothing more than a championship" to "LeBron is happy with Mo Williams, Jason Kapono, Shaq and 66 wins?" Wow, that's logical. LeBron wants a superstar to play with. All they've given him is Mo Williams, who is good, don't get me wrong, but no superstar. A deteriorating Shaq. Anderson Varejao. And Jason Kapono, who has never even seen the INSIDE of three point line. Wasn't he popular for like, 6 minutes? Years ago? When he won the Three Point Shootout in the oh so popular All-Star charades? That's his claim to fame. Woo-hoo. All hail, Jason Kapono.

Allen Iverson never played with Scottie Pippen, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Dennis Rodman, or players that actually suited him. The Lakers and Bulls always brought in players that would fit into what Kobe and Jordan wanted. The Sixers never did that for Iverson. Ever.
Who is the best player he ever played with when he played for the Sixers? When he was in his prime? Hmmm...
Larry Hughes?
Derrick Coleman?
Dikembe Mutumbo?
Old ass half-retired Glenn Robinson?
Stackhouse, for like, fifteen minutes?

AI played with Carmelo for a year and a half. The team was doing great. Didn't win a championship, but how many times have they won since Iverson has been out of Denver? How many times have they made the Finals since then?

I said AI had more heart, not that he was a better player.
MJ - "I have given all I can to the game of basketball, I retire."
Kobe - Refuses to shoot the whole first half of a game to prove he is a basketball god.
Where is the heart there? Kobe refusing to shoot. Is that passion for the game?

P.s. Iverson played shooting guard quite often.

Lebron would be better off In NY, they would build around him. he'd have a opportunity to play with Dantoni, who is a better coach than Mike Brown.

Cavs fans are gonna be dissapointed when their team finishes
3rd in the east.

someone had mentioned that Lebron does what Nike tells him, if Nike wants him to move to NY. Lebron will go. come off season A-Rod and Jeter will have meetings with King James and persuade him to follow suit

So who's supposed to "suit" Iverson now? He doesn't trust his teammates 'cause he wants the offense to run through him. He played with a good Denver team, and really never made much of it.

LOL! Denver did alright when he was there, after he was gone they took off. Very underrated #2 seed, and had the Lakers by the balls in the West Finals. They wouldn't have got that far with Iverson in the line up. Everyone knows that.

Are you criticizing MJ and Kobe? Lets think about it, what's the real reason Kobe "refuses" to shoot during first halves? Remember back in the day when Kobe would drop 60-70 points a game all by himself? Well that's the old Kobe, with the old Kwame/Smush team. Kobe's matured since then, he's been told over and over that he needs to get his teammates involved now that he has reliable teammates on the team. Passion for the game doesnt come from just scoring big and getting good numbers. It comes from thinking, and strategizing, and beating your opponents physically and mentally. Kobe can do that better than anyone in the league since Jordan.

D'antoni is the only perk of being a Knick, but he wouldn't help Lebron a lick, and probably wouldn't build as good of a team as Mike Brown, seriously. Look what D'antoni did with Amare's talent, absolutely nothing. If it's not an up tempo three point team, than he really can't do much. So I think he would be hugely overrated as a coach if you think he'll be able to juggle two superstars, which is unlikely to happen anyways.
Mike Browns alright, but they need to go out and get someone like Larry Brown. You can guarantee he'll be able to put together a solid team around Lebron, and also be able to juggle a couple of superstars.
I'll give it time before I start to think Lebron will leave, because he will make that decision at the last second anyways, so no one really knows.

So who's supposed to "suit" Iverson now?
I didn't say now, I said when he was in his prime.

Every NBA player deserves to be criticized. It's how they got to where they are. I believe Jordan was the best player to ever touch a basketball, I believe Kobe is the best since then, but I believe AI had more heart than either of them.
Just because I think Jordan is better than anyone else, doesn't mean I can't see the flaws he had in his game. His arrogance in his early years. He didn't trust his teammates, either. Just like Kobe and Iverson.
Jordan was never an excellent three point shooter. Just because he is the best of all time, doesn't mean he was the best at *everything*
He would lose a three point shootout to damn Damon Jones, does that mean I think Damon Jones is a better player? Fuck no. Does it mean I think Damon Jones has a better three point shot? Yes.
Because I believe AI had more heart, does that mean I think he was a better player? Hell no.
