This thread has been going for almost 12 years. Is that not insane? It’s like a time capsule of all of us growing old
I really wish we didn't lose the archive of the board circa 2005 and onwards. I think there was a hiccup somewhere and we lost a lot of posts and had to start fresh. Or at least there was a huge gap of almost a decade-worth of posts that were lost.
I just read through a thread from 2011 where we all arguing. Awkward
And trying to start a Google hangout
Was it a Hangout or Google Wave? I remember I was invited to a lot of Google stuff through here. Either Wave or Google Plus or some other stuff. Probably from Casey. I think we actually did have a Wave where we posted stuff. I know I had one with friends when group chats and emails were a thing and it went for about 3 years until Google shut the whole thing down.
Yeah, I’m absolutely positive I was cringey. Have no interest in reading my old thoughts and opinions.
I thought you were the more level-headed members. I don't think any female members lost their shit lol. I know the guys definitely had beef. Maybe thoughts and opinions change but I don't think any were cringe-worthy.
On another note, we lost quite a few celebs within the past 30 days. Barbara Walters, Ken Block, and today was Lisa Marie Presley. There have been others but, man, things kicked off quick. There was that near-death instance with Damar Hamlin, the NFL player whose heart stopped on the field. Twice.
Just took a look at a list and I can't believe I forgot Gangsta Boo last week.

Kirstie Alley's death actually got me to start watching Cheers. I knew her for her Alli commercials and that was it but I think she was known for her role on Cheers too? I saw Ted Danson was in it and I started it. She hasn't appeared on the show yet but it's weird how stuff like that gets you to start something new. I never watched Roseanne as a kid but I was interested in the reboot and I watched the first season. Then during the second season, I think, she had that Twitter post that got her cancelled and the whole show had to be re-done but once that season ended, I went and watched all of Roseanne on Prime before the next season aired. And I enjoyed it. I think that's what's happening now with Cheers. But I do really enjoy the show. I heard so much about it but never watched it because it was "old;" at least older than me and ended before I was born. I might have to give some "older" stuff a try after this.
