The Verge's NEXUS 4 review
They really took shots for not giving LTE, but I say - who gives a blue fuck?
I was extremely surprised. Seems like it affected the whole review, the way they described the phone. Perhaps they hired a noob at the verge.
It's surprising he mentions that the Galaxy Nexus had a "weak display"! And this AND the lack of LTE made him want to switch. Crazy dude.
He goes on in almost every paragraph with things like " alarming lack of LTE — which makes it tough to see how this stacks up fully against the competition." and "There's no way to ignore the lack of LTE".
Then in the connectivity section he said "call quality and reception was excellent on the phone. I only had one dropped called while testing, and general sound and clarity was top notch" and at the end gave a "call quality - 6/10 score". He's clearly whining about lack of LTE again.
WHAT THE heck MAN?!
This dude complains about a "washed out" display, which is a pretty obvious observation coming from the Galaxy Nexus (despite the fact this guy said it has a "Weak display"). That's what you always feel when coming from Samsung's Amoled to IPS LCD.
Judging by the pictures and raw data provided by the review the phone looks pretty damn fine. It scored lower than the Galaxy Nexus, SGS3 and even Iphone 5 and HTC One X despite the fact that he said "It's easily the best Android phone on the market, save for one small thing(lack of LTE)". I would fire the reviewer. He makes uncomfortably many Lumia 920 comparisons, even though I can't comprehend how you can compare these two.
One thing that looks like a really, really bad move was the glass coating on the back. I take good care of my phones but even I do drop my phone once in a while. This basically means cracking the cover, like with the Iphone 4. Really a silly move.
Good thing is they used the Sony camera module (same as the Xperia Arc and Iphone 5) and Google worked on it, so LG couldn't screw up the drivers too much, so the quality is pretty nice and low-light shots are pretty awesome:
edit: I just peeped at the comments and found out that the whole comment section is basically giving this dude shit about his LTE, lol
