i want to say that he learned from last year's finals but he has not demonstrated that in clutch decisions lately. so i'm worried about his performance. but on the flip side, I don't have too much confidence in other teams being able to beat the Heat. I think people are placing too much confidence in OKC and the Bulls. I wouldn't.

^Perkins deleted his Twitter account some hours after that. No link has been found between the two events.

Amongst other things, Durant thinks his dunk on Haywood last year doesn't get its due. He needs to stop bitching.

"I knew that wasn't going to get attention because we never get attention like that," Durant said. "We're not an L.A. team or a Chicago team or a Miami team. All our plays get thrown under the radar."
As for that Perkins poster, Bryant says:

"Blake's dunk was unreal. Unreal. Video game s---."

Ahhh, so that was the point of focus...I hadn't put it together. J-lin seemed like he was really having fun out there on the court.

Let him play:

It says less about Lin and more about what a natural Point Guard can accomplish in D'Antoni's system. Not praising D'Antoni, just saying.

D'Antoni at the moment feels his job is secure as coach of the Knicks. What do you think Ristol?

I also read Amare's brother passed on in a car crash. Always remember to wear your seat-belts.

Real shame about Amar'e's brother. Hope the big man takes his time and gets back when he's ready.

Linsanity at the Garden again tonight. He's playing out of his mind right now, and the thing is, this is his first real opportunity in the league. Could be seeing the birth of a star.

(Remember that D'Antoni can win with an excellent point guard to distribute to his bigs. Knicks are maaaaaybe taking shape. Big maybe, but we'll see.)

So no need for Phil Jackson now?

on the one hand, i'm super stoked at the possibility of a new arena and an nba and nhl team.

on the other, being stoked is highly hypocritical of me. after all, it's not going to be a new team. it's going to be the kings or maybe the hornets (I'd prefer kings, what up tyreke?) so we'd be stealing a team in a not so different fashion from how Oklahoma City stole ours (and we hate those fuckers now). we'd probably see some kings banners at the staples center like sonics banners at the rose garden.

I'd still like to see Phil. But this is how Knick fans are. We get off your back if you win two games. Then, when you lose, we all call for your head again. You should hear the sports talk radio in this town. I'd think they were retarded if I wasn't one of them.

Wall did put up nice numbers, but we're winning and that's a new thing. We're all excited in NY. HOWEVER: we've been playing bad teams. There's a team we're playing on Friday night, some faggoty team with a supposedly legendary two guard, that will be a real test. Disclaimer: we still won't have STAT or Melo.
