About my Knicks, I have two things to say:

1) What happens when Amar'e blows out his knee and we can't amnesty him? That means we'll be starting Jared Jeffries at the 4, and the thought of that makes me very tired.

2) I like using amnesty as a verb.

CP3 going to practice is not a story to you, but it sure is to Clippers fans.

As a Knicks fan, you really shouldn't be thinking Amare blows out his knee unless it happens. Also, why do you want to amnesty someone because they blew out their knee?

You'ld make an evil GM.

Ricky Rubio was on fire for his pre-season debut. Same way the Warriors seem to have gotten 'Hand down. Man down' into their defensive mind set.

Likely that Baron Davis will join the Knicks. I had an eye on him joining the Lakers as the team badly needs a PG over the past so many years.

I still think its funny they let go of Billups only to sign Davis...

I was very surprised to see Rubio in person, balling out in the NBA. Never thought it would happen. Looks like that boy can play. Too bad Minnesota has roughly 19 point guards.

I'm happy the Knicks are signing B. Diddy for one reason: Toney Douglas is a two guard. He's too small to guard twos, but that's what he is. I can't tell you how many times he tried to run the pick and roll with Amar'e last year and, when Amar'e rolled, Toney just didn't see him. Amar'e would be cutting, wide open, howling for the ball, and Toney would just kick it to somebody else. Frustrating. And we're not gonna get much out of Mike Bibby's corpse either.

As for using the amnesty clause on Billups, that was the right move. I don't question it at all. By letting go of him they were able to sign a legitimate defensive center (something most teams don't have) and a new starting point guard (admittedly a lot of what-ifs about BD).

So who's gonna take a flyer on Arenas?

Rubio's talented but I'm not sure how he'll stack up against the tougher point guards in the league. I liked watching him play in international competition although I always cheered against Spain.

You're telling me that if you're the Celtics or the Heat, you're not terrified of the Knicks right now? In the middle of April, this is what we could be putting on the floor:

PG Baron Davis
SG Landry Fields
SF Carmelo Anthony
PF Amar'e Stoudemire
C Tyson Chandler

That's what we're going to war with. I will take that over any starting five in the NBA, except maybe the Clippers or Heat.

Knicks are a good match up for the heat but they don't play enough defense I think ya'll need a new coach. I bet if Phil Jackson came back and coached the Knicks you guys would win a ring within 2 years of him being there. As much as it hurts to say it I think the Heat got the best shot this year since the league fucked my Lakers over.

this season's going to be frustrating if you're a laker hater. now they have a scapegoat for aallllllllll their problems. I think LA has too many white guys on the team.

^Not to mention Bryant has a torn lunotriquetral ligament. A wrist injury in short, but for scapegoat purposes as you put it, I'd prefer to say he has a torn lunotriquetral ligament.

Early x-mas presents anyone? At $180 a pair, I'll pass:

It's my long-held belief that those Jordans, in that color, are the sickest ones. I have them in that color, and in red and black. :)

I'm white so my opinion is irrelevant but only good looking Jordan shoes were these: and the updated 2011 3's (true blues)
Funny you mention that. All my white friends simply love that shoe as well, and they don't even care about Jordan's :D Must be something about the design.

So over one week I've found out you're human and you got sick taste in shoes. You're not such a bad guy once someone gets to know you.

I also think those were those are the best of them all. The Black/Red are my favorite color, I only fear if I bought them I'd be too scared to wear them...However, my personal fav is the 4's. Just reminds me of seeing Mars Blackmon and MJ ads on MTV (1989) during my childhood. I didn't know much about them then, but the shoe is ingrained in my memory forever.
