Detox is finally coming out.

^True.

I don't think he's going to have any bad bitch or sick ass dude like Mel Man and Hittman, it seems like he kind of sold out with this album.

We'll probably get features like Juelz Santana...

2001 was weed themed but it's not like the songs were all about drugs throughout. You know what Detox needs, it needs it's "Mel Man." Can give a fuck what anyone thinks, Mel Man made 2001 the classic that it is. Him and Hittman that is. I thought Bishop would be able to fill that role for Detox but you know what happened with that. That's just my take an an unheard unreleased album lol.
yes. bishop was meant to be what snoop was to chronic and what eminem/hittman were to that era for dre/2001 respectively.

what happened to earl hayes? he was meant to be dropping that mixtape "The First 48"... there were meant to be 48 songs, but it only had 16. :S he was like bishop's replacement on aftermath.

marsha ambrosius would be sick on detox (as a realistic feature). I can see Stat writing for the album but not being featured on it much if not at all. Seems like he's been an integral part of the latter sessions to finish off the album.

After listening to i need a doctor a couple ten times I'm so not excited for Detox. Kush sucked I need a doctor sounds like it should've been on Em's latest album and I don't know what to say. I hope it's good, there are already two songs on it I dont like though
I don't know, this song would be killer as the intro to a banging album.

Bishop reached a level and can't get any higher. He's still making the same songs he made 5 years ago. Doesn't interest me one bit. I was a big fan 5 years ago.

The video is cool. The Eminem part gets a bit boring and it sounds a bit gay when Eminem dickrides Dre but still I really like the video.

^What I think is stupid is that he's not visiting his son's grave. You know what I mean? His son is even referenced by Em in the song.

** Google note an increase of search trends related to "Eric Wright" ** Kids, ey?
I work in hmv and a kid came in and spoke to one of my colleagues today saying he wanted a Biggie Smalls album, so he took him over to the section and pointed him to the Notorious BIG albums and the kid just looked at him and said "No, I want Biggie Smalls" lmao, the kids lucky it wasnt me or I'd have slapped him and told him to get the fuck out!

hat whole google thing was a joke because these kids will try to find out and then make out all along that they knew about eazy-e. i get the slightest of impressions that there's a diss to ice cube in there.

dre will be more "grown up" and mature on this album. dont think he'll be swearing as much either. think this will be an album he'll want to have considered as a great musical album (in general), not just a great rap album - so he'll be bringing distinct sounds not only to how rap is now, but his entire catalogue (i.e. his past albums). i need a doctor just showed emotion - that wasnt really done on his past 2 albums except for "the message".

everyone talks about rapper a, b and c being on detox. but i wonder what the odds of Curtis Young (formerly known as Hood Surgeon) being on the album are, i.e. Dre passing on the torch to his son.... Check my "New West" thread to download his mixtapes and songs to judge for yourselves.
