Sure seems like it. Or maybe he's in love with loving hip-hop? We shouldn't really judge him for it, though. Hip-hop avenged Linx's mother's death, raised him, and freestyled about finding your inner strength over James Brown breaks - funk on the low end, hope and inspiration on top. Hip-hop's been good to Linx, and Linx is just being good right back to it.
