man, george hill ain't a real pg and even if he was he wouldn't be good enough unless duncan and manu miraculously stopped aging. long-term, the spurs are simply fucked.

The match vs the heat was bound to be a fierce one considering how the game in LA ended. I wasn't thinking too much about that. Then the loss to the Bobcats. That team has had L.A's number since last season. I don't see the Lakers ever having an easy time against them.

na hills more of a sg anyway. id trade parker for a play making pg then trade jeffersons expiring contract next year for some athletic scorers. also, the spurs need a solid 7fter for bynum/gasol, duncans not what he used to be.
even thou i love manu, spurs shouldve traded him to the wizards when they had the chance. i believe the trade was something like manu + bum for nick young/haywood and 5th overall. that would def ease the bleeding.

wow the lakers are playing like shit now, its like they dont wanna catch the cavs for best record.
cavs vs pistons. the pistons were closing out the 4th on a 10-0 run and a 7 point lead when lebron started taking over. chauncey billups BARELY missed an open look at the end of regulation (how different would the NBA be today if he had hit it...). the cavs won in double overtime and lebron was literally the only cav to score in either OT - he had 29 of the their last 30 points, i think?
it was pretty much the game that signaled that lebron's arrival as an elite player.
Matt Barnes Phail on that ball fake to Kobe's face. Van Gundy, Jeff said that should be the play of the game cause Kobe didn't even flinch ahaha.
The back talk between the Lakers and the Magic was rather interesting to read. I think I'd like to watch these two teams slug it out in the NBA finals again. Considering the way the Lakers have been playing, that's another story though.

if they get wall, devin harris is gone... somebody will definitely be suckered into giving up too much for him (just like they did in giving up jason fucking kidd). both of those guys love to score and dominate the ball, though, idk how rudy gay could coexist with someone like that. i think he just wants to be the overpaid top dog on some shit team without ambition.
