No offence to the Knicks, but the only reason that team is discussed is because they are based New York (I said it). There used to be a nice rivalry going with Miami, fights used to break out...but the NBA turned soft (I said it again).

I don't get these clowns.

First the CP3 to Lakers deal wasn't good enough. The ramifications of the veto result in Odom demanding a trade, which turned out to be pretty useless to the Lakers strength right now.

The Mavs sent a protected first-round pick to the Lakers for Odom, a 2012 second-round pick and other second-round considerations.

Then they (Stern, Cuban, Gilbert, MJ23) say they don't want players like CP3 going from small market teams to big market teams after the new CBA. From there, they trade CP3 to the Clippers, a team that plays in the same building and city as the Lakers.

Right now, the mentality of the Lakers team is so distracted, no way they win a Championship this season with a new coach.

Unbelievable.

If the hornets accepted the first deal they would have been bettet for the first two years, the deal that went through helps em out down the line though. More attractive to a potential buyer etc blah blah blah. Kobe & CP3 backcourt > Clippers entire franchise history and future

My girlfriend told me about the divorce thing, it's sad. But man, if anyone knows anything about Kobe Bryant they know he is going to be even more motivated than he already is, it's scary to think about.

How lucky is Jeff Green to have had this detected during his medical? He was probably going crazy during the lockout with a fitness regimen that could have aggravated his heart.

The Boston Celtics announced Saturday that forward Jeff Green will undergo surgery next month and will miss the entire 2011-12 season. A routine physical administered after Green agreed to a one-year, $9 million contract with the Celtics last week detected an aortic aneurysm. After consulting with leading cardiac specialists, the decision was made to completely repair Green's condition, and doctors indicated to him that he should be able to resume his basketball career during the 2012-13 season.

As for Phil Jackson, that's going to be really great for him if it happens. He's the coolest coach I've ever known for the Lakers (my sig is my tribute to him ). I think he has always wanted to coach the Knicks when its all said and done. It will be super to see him on the sidelines and Knicks fans will love having him there.
