R.I.P Pope John Paul II

I don't understand why everybody's so fucking sad about this. The man was ill all the time so he was suffering a lot and finally goes to Heaven (probably), what can be greater than that ?

Fair point, but he meant a lot to so many people. It is not just the loss of his life, but the loss of an important part of the lives of many.

Should we cry, when the Pope die, my request
We should cry if they cried when we buried Malcolm X

If you're going to live your life, and base all your opinions, on Tupac's lyrics, at least get them right.
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

that Pac quote is actually revelant

they dont care when our people die why should we care about theirs

You are a racist. Our, theirs? So just because he is white and you are apparently white you wont show him respect? You're a racist plain and simple. You're just like those white people that didnt care when blacks died. Ignorant.

The Pope did a lot of Africa and Latin America and everyone around the world, you're just ignorant and dont know anything about the man because if you did you wouldnt say shit like that, all you see is color. Racist.

I'll miss the Pope because he was a great man, and such a shining beacon of freedom against oppression for everyone around the world, whether the Eastern Europeans and Poles in particular after he almost single handedly started the political downfall of the Communist Regimes. Or for Latin America because of all his visits to Mexico and Cuba when Religions were being persecuted at the time. Or all the good he did in reconciliation and unity between Christians, Jews and Muslims.

Karol Wojtyla was a great man, John Paul II was a great leader who taught by example, tolerance and respect. A lot of people in the world could take a leaf from his book on how to act, and certainly several people in here.

The Pope was loved by people from every faith in the world, he crossed boundaries and borders and united everyone he came in contact with.

The world will miss him, but he is in a better place now.

R.I.P....one of the greatest pope's out there.
peace out pope John Paul II, give a holla at tupac will ya?

RIP John Paul II, a great man who is in Heaven where he belongs. Not many people agree with the ideals of the Pope, but he must be respected for everything he has done, from travelling all over the world to visit people, and to just be a caring man of the people, something that is rare in this day and age. The world will indeed miss his presence.

it seems only lately i have been seeing him on the news, i was watching this documentary on tv this morning about him and just started crying... i can feel that a truly holy person has left us - rest in peace

Straight truth :thumb:

My dad told me today when he was young and was goin to uni it was dangerous to take his prayer book with him, because ppl could act and look at u in the strange way, u just couldn`t show ur relidion. Pope John Paul II has changed it all, now u don`t have to worry if u wear a cross on your chest or have one on the wall, times have changed greatly :thumb: .
