Weather has been nuts. In the midwest, it has been wet for the last 6 weeks. Crazy wind and storms, lots of damage to homes. Losing power was not a common occurrence in my area. It might flicker occasionally or go out for a few hours. Maybe once or twice a year.

Lost power for 36 hours a few weeks back and our area was still best case scenario whereas others lost it for 3+ days. Some for five days. Had three big storms that had trees fall on houses or cars.

Meanwhile, the UK has had six weeks of high heat? People dying and all this talk about Europe's adoption of AC, or lack of.
