First Single (Feat. Bone Thugs) (Radio Rip)

FUCKING SHIT COCK ASSHOLE SWIZZ BEATZ!!!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!! I have been anticipating the first single for so long only to be presented with this unfortunate piece of garbage track which couldn't hold its own against Fat Joe. I am absolutely sick and tired of this crap what the fuck were they thinking!!!!!??????? This is beyond wack. Someone needs to be shot and all fingers point to that no talent, overhyped turd burglar named Swizz Beats.

Rest assured there is much better material on the album than this.

Amaru should have gone with what Johnny wanted to be the single. That track owns this one.

Your words in Gods ear. From time to time I REALLY wonder why the good songs are not picked as singles, like Better Dayz, My Block, Po Nigga Blues.

edit: as music video clips.

Wow... the single finally dropped! Hmm... I definately got mixed feelings on this... I listened to it about 10 times and after the 1st time i was like WTF and after the 10th, I'm still sayin WTF but its not as bad as it could have been.. My boy whos over right now who isnt really a Pac fan thinks its pretty hot.. so at least it'll create a few new pac fans.

I can see this becoming a club banger though.. Like Ruk said, I can see myself on the floor of the club grindin to this tipsy.. which is good cuz the only song i heard by pac in the club in like the past 3 years is "How Do You Want It"..

Although most of us "Pac purists" dont care for it much, at least younger kids/people who dont listen to pac or know much about his music/ etc. will tune into it and enjoy his music.. Even though this song sounds nothing like the og...

Can someone up the better quality radio rip that was posted? The link is dead! Thanks in advance...

Ok, I heard these lyrics ten years ago. Fuck you whoever was part of this album. Go jump off a fucking bridge.

^lmao

well first- Wheres a better quality @? with the way this shit sounds it could make or break if i can hear it 'non radio to net quality'

and second
maybe this will turn out 2 be on the bone album instead like someone said supposedly after talkin with kray

This song will definitely be a club banger which I guess is what Amaru is trying to do now. Some people really don't like Swizz Beatz at all (which is understandable), but I think this is a pretty well done track. He tried to make a high energy club song and I think he succeeded.

I always liked his verse from Untouchable and this type of track, while very busy, fits the lyrics well IMHO. Krayzie's verse is tight and I see this as a tribute track from SB.

I think that this is very similar to "Spit Your Game" from the Biggie Duets CD. If you didn't like that, then you probably won't like this.

This shit is ill, dont like the adlibs so much.......The beat goes great with the mood, and I hope the whole album is from "this era."

2pacboard, this is why I love you guys. I refuse to click, refuse to download, and refuse to listen. Same treatment I gave Loyal 2 The Game until Dante dropped his OG Vibed versions.

If this is just Untouchable except over a different beat, why do I wanna hear Swiss Cheese screw it up?

Dante, I've never seen you so pissed before. I think Ruk even had to edit one of your posts. Lol. Here's hoping that in your anger you make volume 3 of your series better than anything. Or even give us an OG Vibe of this song, but with how disgusted you sound I don't even think you will bother this time.

oh, and to all the people desperately trying to push forward the tired excuse of "oh, the kids will buy pac because they did this" or "pac will be heard at the clubs because of this" etc etc etc...isn't it about time you realized that this sort of hope NEVER WORKS? kids/teens/etc are not going to gravitate towards a guy who they can't see talking to them on MTV or at awards shows or on teh cover of their magazines because he's DEAD. and by now we've reached the point where this current generation of clubgoers is so far removed from 'pac's death that they don't really give a shit about him. to them 'pac is nothing more than "changes" and "california love." and he will never be anything more than that in the eyes of the mass media and mass consumer society, ever again.

and be honest--do you think the average clubgoer, in your honest opinion, will have an appreciation for the softer, deeper, more political side of 'pac? namely, do you think they will be INTELLIGENT enough to even understand that side of 'pac? i'm not saying ALL clubgoers will not care. i'm just saying, most are not gonna give a shit once the track ends.

the time for us depending on others, namely, those who have failed so miserably year after year after year after year (amaru), to spread 'Pac's message is over. either we spread it ourselves, through a grassroots movement, through sharing the unreleased, original OG stuff on our own or hooking people up with it...or we leave the current generation to find it for themselves. and just to make myself clear, the latter option isn't necessarily bad.

and this is all i have to say about this subject. i do hope most of you agree.

I have to disagree with you man, California love and Nuthin but a G Thang will in fact be timeless classic records (not just in hip-hop, but across all musical genre’s). "Get Low" and "Saltshaker" will not. If you believe crunk music is anything more than a fad you’re disillusioned. Crunk music is like boybands, no one really takes them serously but hey, people still like to dance.

Songs like Cali Love and Nothing But A G Thang are classic, but they would simply not work if released today. They are still good because of the nostalgia they have and the memories.

In my opinion, singles like Still Tippin and What You Know About That are just as good single wise.

The kids from today will remember current singles with as much passion as we do the ones from the 90s.

It safe to say we have another LTTG type album coming. Not only it will compare in production, but it'll sound chopped and screwed, and gayer than Elton Jon

What happened to going with some of the original producers for this album? I don't like this mix and I hope this isn't a representation of the direction for this album. It just doesn't sound like Pac to me. It is true that we don't know what direction Pac's music would have taken if he was still alive, but we do know what his style was directly prior to his death. I'd like to hear an album that has a Makaveli feel to it. Why not give Pac a sound and feel that is consistent with the last album he had direct control over?
