First Single (Feat. Bone Thugs) (Radio Rip)

in a way i agree wit RUk.... i rather have this then some fuckin soft sensitive stretched single . AT least we have something thats rather hard.

However we shouldnt let this sour the album . They might just make 1 or 2 singles like this and keep the 2pac vibe in the rest.

at least 2pac will be on the radio.

Okay, Ive listened to this half a dozen times now. The fact is im not gonna let myself be dissapointed by this because we all have the OG to this so fuck it, listen to that instead. The real let downs are when we get songs like Thug In Me (UTEOT versions) and Changed Man, and never get the OG's to them. Thats when i feel dissapointed.

First part is same as 'Killuminati' but it's a verse from the song Untouchable, that's the only interesting thing. The song i'm not even going to comment on. I'm not suprised at all and i told y'all it would be bad. I'm not even mad, maybe in 10+ years when they release OG versions of every album we will hear this one as it was recorded.

its ok ..i expected worse honestly .. ..i dont mind hearing them lyrics on that beat..and im totally against remixin ,.. will be a club banger ... the beat isnt bad ..however the chorus is fuckin annoyin as shit ... a new chorus or using the "untouchable" ...woulda been better ...its ok for a remix ..beats nine tenths of loyal to the game ..however that isnt hard to beat

Oh shit i forgot to mention... Crunk music is the worst shit to come out of hip hop ever.

Oh and also... WHAT THE FUCK IS THE NAME OF THIS THING GONNA BE?

Thats what they said about the West Coast too.

Right now Hyphy and Crunk is where it is at. Theres some great Crunk tracks out there. Its just the modern day G-Funk.

I really cant get into it. Its just my opinion and obviously alot of people would disagree with seen as it does seem to be 'where its at' this minute. Just listen to the style of production in the 90's to today, i can say with confidence and agree with Dante that the 90's was the golden era. I think crunk represents the downward curve! Pac should not be adapted to suite this!

The fact that artists of similar caliber to Tupac and of the same era, a la Bone Thugs, adapt to new styles of Hip-Hop suggests that Tupac would have too.

Seeing his progression from 2Pacalypse to Makaveli, I certainly doubt Pac would have remained with the "golden era" format but instead progressed and evolved as an artist. And I seriously doubt Pac being alive would have put a stop to the emergance of Crunk music considering the south has been doing their thing for YEARS and even Pac was down with several of the artists.

could have been worse, but could have been MUCH better. I guess you just have to face the fact that most of what they're going to put out, they're trying to make it "fit" into current hip-hop... and what's current is CRUNK. Personally I don't really like crunk... oh well, whatever... they're trying to make money and this is what's going to make money, not any OG or anything close to OG...

I have to disagree with you man, California love and Nuthin but a G Thang will in fact be timeless classic records (not just in hip-hop, but across all musical genre’s). "Get Low" and "Saltshaker" will not. If you believe crunk music is anything more than a fad you’re disillusioned. Crunk music is like boybands, no one really takes them serously but hey, people still like to dance.

This song is a fucking disgrace, the people involved with preserving 2Pac's legacy should be ashamed of themselves.

i didnt listen to it later when i go home

i am already bad as hell and ready to turn bad !!!!

i only listen to dante's shit when i want to hear pac

isnt it ?

If it were up to you and you had to choose between Pac's music being remixed and released or no material being released at all what would you choose??

I'm not even sure where I stand at this point...

"I just spoke to Krayzie its one of the tracks they worked on for the bone thugs album its not no pac single
interview droppin next week.
n they aint been in the studio with Dre yet"

That was a post on the dubcc forums
