Ha... Enjoy that. I have friends who have it. It's almost as shit as the 4S. My phone pisses all over it. People I know were genuinely excited that they could share photos between all their apple devices. I said, yes, but I can share my photos between any device. 10 secs after I have taken a picture it's on google's servers. They said... Yes but you need the internet for that. I said, you need the internet to share it on your apple devices... There was a pause.... Oh yeah, they said. That's the kind of people who buy iPhones....!
hey, it's not my fault. it's the fault of the android world. samsung doesn't want to cannibalize the SGIII, i understand that. but there's still a plethora of other manufacturers who have to create a phone that's better than the SGIII for me to want to get another android phone. I'm not buying an SGIII. I simply don't want to own that phone. I'd be OK with the same specs but a better design. My Nexus S looks better than that phone. That can't be happening.
^ I used to have similar issues with SGS3. I no longer hate it's design but I'm also waiting for something new. It's much better than the Iphone 5 though.
I'm pretty sure the SGS3 will be the most complete phone until the end of this year at least (I mean the best one on the market for an average person).
Let me explain why. I think there might be phones that will be faster and will look cooler and will be still much better than the Iphone 5 but I think no other manufacturer will be able to pour as much money in software and hardware quality as Samsung does with their Galaxy lines.
Most people I know have 0 issues with their SGS3s. Almost all other phones have an issue here or there and while in most cases they aren't annoying, on the SGS3 things work exactly as they were supposed to.
I think no other manufacturer will put the amount of time and effort that Samsung invested in their SGS3.
Bare in mind that they don't sell many other phones this year which is a drastic change for Samsung - and those that they do are based on the SGS3 (Note 2). It feels like Samsung went Apple a little bit, while having a better product of better quality.
Now I'm also looking for a new phone and I'm waiting for a new Nexus device or maybe a quad core Krait-based phone that isn't manufactured by LG (I don't really like their phones) but I'm aware that even if the phone will be faster it'll be hard to match Samsung with other stuff.

It's a phone for Nokia fanboys and people switching from feature phones. It doesn't compare with Android at all. Windows Phone is still a joke compared to Android and iOS AND 920's hardware isn't as good as top Androids'. It comes with a hefty price tag too for what it is and.... personally I don't think it looks good at all. So I think most things are wrong with the Lumia 920 
To me it'd be a tough choice between the Lumia 920 and Iphone 5. I'd definitely prefer the SGS3 though. Sure it's A9 cortex and it looks like a gigantic soap holder but.. while we are complaining about A9 bare in mind that most of us are rocking a single A8 core clocked at 1ghz, while the SGS3 sports 4 of those A9 cores clocked at 1,4ghz. It's still freaking fast. And while I was complaining about it a little bit I still think it's a good phone.

On another note, my mate at work got the SGS3 instead of the iPhone 5. Hopefully another one will follow (the one who keeps banging on about iPhones holding their value). He seems a little disappointed with the iPhone 5. I say hopefully, because they seem very uncertain but I know they'll be happier with S3s as they are better value and will fulfill their needs.
Nah... The SGS III is just as bad as the iphone. Almost as popular and owned by lots of people who say it's amazing and don't actually know why. Except that media tells them it is. I like the look of the Lumia 920. But I am scared to leave android as I am heavily invested. Therefore you can buy one and tell me how it is.
Here’s your next Nexus phone, or something very similar

There have been a rash of leaks this past weekend (come on, over Canadian Thanksgiving? No rest for the wicked!) indicating one of two things: either LG is creating the next Nexus device, or there are some dedicated fakers out there.
An XDA-Developers member, stevebinh, has posted a photo album of the LG E960, the purported next Nexus phone. The device looks awfully similar to the LG Optimus G we showed you last month, including the rather boxy design, a 1280×768 4.7-inch IPS screen, a 1.5Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and that awesome-sounding 13MP camera. The tester device, which we see running stock Android, is called “Mako,” a fish in line with all of the previous Nexus devices. For example, the Galaxy Nexus is “maguro” while the Nexus S is “herring.”
We’ve also seen the device in different lighting conditions (below) and it does indeed look like a cross between the Galaxy Nexus and Optimus G, with much more rounded corners than the latter and a flatter, more “designer” backing design than the former.
Though the final version of the Optimus Nexus, or whatever it will be called, is expected to run Android 4.2, the tester shown in the screenshots is on Android 4.1.2, a version we’ve yet to see on the market.
The E960 recently passed through the FCC for certification showing off AT&T bands for both HSPA+ and LTE. This would preclude the device from being pentaband HSPA+ like the Galaxy Nexus — sorry WIND and Mobilicity users — but that’s doesn’t mean there won’t be a separate 3G-only AWS version down the line. It’s clear that the device is using Qualcomm’s MDM9615 baseband, which is theoretically pentaband-capable, so we’ll have to see. This is the same baseband chip that’s inside the iPhone 5, and works across CDMA/GSM networks.
If the next Nexus is indeed made by LG, and we’re thinking more and more that it will be, there’s nothing that says the phone won’t be coming by early November.
So, what do you think of LG making the nexus Nexus device? You might as well get used to the idea: it’s looking increasingly likely.

The 4.1.2 update info leak for Android looks kind of fake now. My Nexus 7 has just updated itself to Android 4.1.2 and there are only minor things there. Butter smooth performance has apparently gotten even smoother (can't say I notice a difference as it was perfectly smooth already), horizontal mode works for everything now and other minor stuff. It's pretty much like 2.3.3 to 2.3.4 update imho - basically nothing important.
