I don't mind the look.

I didn't want any buttons on the front though/. Just volume on the side, and power on the top. I need that 3 button recovery, just in case/

The blue one makes me feel all tingly inside and want to buy the SGS3. My brother is pretty much sold on it and wants to get it - hope he get's it in white then...

What is so bad about the Pentile Matrix screen. It shouldn't be noticed by the naked eye, right?

Casey, how much do you think my T-Mobile G2 will go for? It's practically in brand new condition - no scratches or marks, rooted, unlocked on all networks. Would you say £150 on eBay? But then eBay would take a cut from that... Might think about listing it on Amazon.

Edit: This HTC Desire Z went for £155; don't think it was rooted:

Do you think i can get much more for it?

You can get £150 for it, easily. eBay don't take a cut, they charge a listing fee. Paypal take a cut but what I usually do is increase the shipping fee by an extra £5 to compensate.

What you need to do - 5 day auction, start on a Tuesday night around 9pm. Sunday night is the best time for an auction to end to get a good price. Make sure you state in the description AND the title that the phone is rooted and unlocked. In the description, describe exactly what root means and why CM is better than a stock ROM. Also be sure to mention that the G2 is rare and was never released in the UK but works perfectly here. You should be able to get £150 for sure. I sold three G2's about a year ago and got between £250-£300 at that time so you should defo be able to get £150 and maybe more.

Thanks. Never thought about Sunday evenings being the best time for auctions to end. Always just thought the evenings would do. I did all the explanation of root and CM when I sold my G1. Turned out that someone just bought it to unlock it and sell it on again

Mazuma will offer you £23 for it. I struggle to see you getting £150.

Mazuma offer me £100 for my i9000. Which I'd be happy with.

It's the T-Mobile G2 aka the HTC Vision which was known as the HTC Dezire Z (in the UK). You're thinking of the T-Mobile G2 Touch that was actually known as the HTC Hero on other networks in the UK. Mazuma are offering me £45 for it. CEX would offer me between £85-£92 but I know they won't accept it because it's modded; so eBay/Amazon is the one.

Ok. Cool. By modded, you mean rooted?

The G2 still has good value because it was never released here and is actually superior to the similar Desire Z (came with stock Android, has additional voice control button, has more internal memory). And being rooted and SIM unlocked obviously adds value also.

Should get 150-200. Cex won't take modded phones? Didn't know that (and they don't pay enough anyway), but just put it back to stock before taking it in.

Yep, and the custom ROM install.

Too much hassle. Besides there are people who want it as it is and like Casey said, it adds value to the product. One example is that the life cycle is boosted by modding it. I can't remember if the HTC Desire Z consumers even got their official Gingerbread update. I have been on Gingerbread now for like a year, maybe longer on that phone. And there's the slight chance that with a custom ROM (hopefully CM) it might also get ICS - there's no chance of an official HTC ICS ROM for that phone.

Sprint's Samsung Galaxy S III SPH-L71 is coming with Dual-core S4 processor
http://www.youmobile.org/blogs/entr...SPH-L71-is-coming-with-Dual-core-S4-processor

A
Sprint
user agent profile revealed some information about the carrier's version of the Samsung Galaxy S III. The device has been given the model number
SPH-L710
which corresponds with Sprint. The specs almost match perfectly with the GT-I9300, which is the international version handset.

The major difference between the Sprint model and the global variant is that as expected, Sprint's device won't carry the quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 processor (as it doesn't support LTE) and instead features the dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 S4 processor.

The Galaxy S III SPH-L71 will come with 16GB/32GB/64GB Storage with Android 4.0.4 ICS the same as the Galaxy S III I9300, Sprint is reported to announce the device very soon with a release date too.

Yeah everyone knew the lte variants were coming with the s4. T mob will be the only one with the quad exynos. Just have to hope for the design changes
