That LG looks like the SGS3 killer. It probably won't sell as well though, because it's from LG and they don't know a thing about marketing. And the design isn't great too.
Overall, though, in terms of smoothness and snappiness, you won't find a better-performing Android phone on the market today.
The One S is easily the best smartphone available on T-Mobile today - nothing else comes even close. I also think it's currently the best Android smartphone in the US. Not just because of its amazing design and build quality. Not because of its blazing-fast S4 processor, its laudable battery life, or its class-leading camera.
It's a great phone because all of these things have come together in one device. I can't think of another Android phone that has ever brought this level of fit and finish (and most importantly, usability) to the market, and I can scarcely imagine buying something that doesn't meet the expectations the One S has shown me I can now have of a smartphone.
You guys fell victim to your own inflated expectations. What the fuck did you want? I wanted an SGS2 with a bigger screen and a quad core processor and some cool new features. I personally really dig the design. My cousin has a Transformer Prime and it's responsive as fuck. And this is outdoing it.
the allshare function is dope. The WiDi technology is something I've been waiting for, personally. The camera functionality is improved.
2GB of RAM in that LG device is overkill like the article says.
Anyway, I'm probably not getting the SGS3 though. I'm still in contract on my S2. But I may change my mind when I get to play with one. All in all, I've been wanting a Nexus device so I may wait for that. It'll basically be an S3 anyway since they already said Samsung will again be making the next Nexus.
I really like the design of the SGS3, too. It looks very organic and natural. Not the best design, but actually still very nice. Something a little different.
It also seems that Samsung or Google have patented a new slide out QWERTY mechanism for the next Nexus device::

I think Im going to get the s3 though. Might be a little disappointed, pentile...chip even though that isn' a big deal, but I've been holding on to this mytouch 4g way too long.
