I'm gonna wait until the album drops to hear it, but someone comment on the beats, are they dope?

How are the features? Esp with dre on them, they good?

the Production on this is great. Dre has got some nice beats on it. i love the beat for My Mom.

its an okay album so far, i know this will grow on me thru time.

anywhere between 600,000 to 800,000 copies in the first week. thats what im thinking.

he's got this accent different voice, just to get these young kids to buy it. the ones that buy soulja boy and t-pain. and he's getting the hannah montana crowd too.

If I wait until the second Relapse CD comes out, I can take Relapse, Relapse 2 and Encore, delete all the fucking bullshit, and end up with a good Eminem CD.

This will result in a "REAL" Eminem CD which will be "AWESOME."

I don't understand why talented artists put one to two good albums out every year?

Why would they bother when their fanbase can instead just wait five years and make a 'best of' from three albums all by themselves?

Seems silly to me.

^you mean like Mockingbird and a few other songs from Encore mixed with Relapses: Hello, Underground...etc...

sounds good to me. :D

Relapse doesnt suck as much as I expected it to do. Still not as good as his first 3 albums. I deleted all the 'My salsa' voiced songs, dont know what got into his head thinking that mexican accent is somehow funny or not annoying. Undergound is by far the best song.

And that dude in this thread is right. Em's flow on Beautiful kinda sounds like Biggie's flow on Notorious Thugz

i wish there were more tracks like Underground.. that sounds like it could have been a MMLP track, it's hot as fuck. Lyrically Em still has skills.. but that god damn accent is soo annoying. Deja Vu is a tight track too.

Imo, Underground made the album. If it weren't for that track alone, I probably wouldn't have even burned a CD.

Gave it a couple of good listens ever since I got it Thursday night. Not as good as I expected and but definitely not as bad as most expected it to be.

Some good songs: Insane, Bagpipes from Baghdad, Beautiful, 3am, Deja Vu, Underground
Some bad songs: My Mom, Same Song & Dance, Old Times Sake, Crack A Bottle
Undecided: Must Be The Ganja, Hello, Medecine Ball, Stay Wide Awake
Special mention: Ken Kaniff skit, probably the best one.

So yeah.. Still subject to change. Overall half good, half bad. Then the bad songs I feel are more average than terrible. At east Em didn't lose it lyrically. So.. Relapse 2 eh? Lose the odd voice Em.

I wish he made an album of Beautiful type songs or Underground.
It would be amazing. Been bumping Beautiful a lot more than Underground though.

As for Relapse 2, I think it's going to be better. It's probably going to be a lot more 'soulful' so to say. This one is just Eminem doing his typical crazy shit, the next one should be more along the lines of Sing for the Moment type tracks. I find it hard to believe there is no Proof dedicated tracks, so yeah.

^Same here. Where is Proof mentioned? Barely nowhere as far as I noticed. Not even one song dedicated to him? I hope what you say about Relapse 2 is true. But eh never know.

^mentioning him isn't enough.

He WILL have a full song dedicated to him. I just feel that he is being so nit picky with EVERYTHING in that specific future song.
