He's worn so many numbers in his career. Man, if Odom signs with us, its over. O.V.E.R. Done.

Idk if he will though.

lol, he said that??? wtf haha.

Done deal. I'm gonna ship out a wheel chair to San Antonio.

Good addition. Pargo was sick for the Hornets. I wish he was still a Laker.

Bleh, Birdman isn't that great. He's just a distraction with his hair-do's, and his tattoos.
wow mcdyess almost avg a double double

pargo is def a good pick up

DALLAS (AP)—A person with knowledge of the deal says the Dallas Mavericks will acquire forward Shawn Marion(notes) from Toronto.

The trade is not official, but the person told The Associated Press on Wednesday it should be completed. The person was granted anonymity because the deal was still being worked on.

The Raptors couldn’t afford to re-sign Marion because they need to clear salary cap space for Hedo Turkoglu(notes). They are close to an agreement with the Orlando Magic free agent.

The deal was first reported by The Dallas Morning News.

Marion is a versatile player who can be used at either forward position. He spent just half a season in Toronto after being traded from Miami.

The trade is expected to include at least one other team to make the salaries work. Oklahoma City and Memphis are likely candidates because they are far enough under the salary cap to facilitate a deal.

The Mavericks have been busy during the offseason, agreeing to give point guard Jason Kidd(notes) a three-year contract for more than $25 million to remain in Dallas. They also are trying to reach a deal with Marcin Gortat(notes), Orlando’s backup center.

Marion was a four-time All-Star in Phoenix but is facing a major pay cut from the $17.8 million he earned last season. He scored 12.9 points per game, well below his career average of 17.8.

Marion will join Kidd, Dirk Nowitzki(notes) and Josh Howard(notes), giving the Mavericks four former All-Stars.
The matrix is going to Dallas... quite possibly.

Odom will stay in LA, Kupchack just told Lamar to enjoy his summer. you'll hear from Odom shortly within the next week.

So where is Iverson going?? to the Grizz or is he heading to Miami?? (Wade, O'Neal, and possibly A.I. on the same roster those 3 spell doom for the Heat) thats just my opinion. AI and Wade will want their shots.

Nobody wants AI. He's a streetballer, not a team player. Unfortunately, for him, he's not going to realize that until he's old and out of it.

I hope you're right about Odom. I would love to see him come back.

this opinion is completely false, inane horseshit and indicative of a tepid, unoriginal mind. explain or go fuck yourself with one of the greatest little man of all time's Big East DPOY awards (there's one for your vagina as well as your asshole).

LAWL, He is a street-baller type of player, that's why nobody wants him, and that's why Memphis is only offering him a 1 year contract, 'cause he's no good long term! Never got a ring 'cause it's all Me Me Me. The Nuggets were completely glad he was out of Denver, especially George Karl.

Oh, and practice...?

Iverson's career is done.

AI single handedly led the Sixers to the Finals, and lost to a Kobe and Shaq driven Lakers team. Streetballers are Hot Sauce and shit like that, they don't make it to the pros. AI is a professional. He went to Denver, lowered his scoring average, took less shots, got more assists, and was still called a ball hog. It's a catch-22 if you're Allen Iverson, if you pass then you're not an established scorer and if you score you're a ballhog. The critics never take a day off.

And so what, LeBron got dunked on by a nobody. Jordan got dunked on by John Starks. Jordan got crossed (twice) by AI. Jordan also got shook by KWAME BROWN in a pickup game. Everyone gets dunked on or crossed over in their career, but who is making millions while others aren't even making the pro's?

Man i would love to see the footage but stupid Nike destroyed it. hope someone can get it on youtube even if its just for a few days.

your right though, whats the big fucking deal, its basketball its a sport, the greats have been dunked on.

Jason kidd also single handedly led the Nets to the Finals and lost to Kobe and Shaq, and he didn't have to score huge or take 90% of the shots.

Of course Iverson's points and shots were going to lower dramatically. He used to shoot all the time on the Sixers 'cause he only believed in himself. A line has to be drawn at some point.

On the Nuggets, which was not HIS team btw, there was Melo, JR smith, Kenyon, and the rest to distribute shots around. But there obviously was a problem with the point guard position, or else the trade wouldn't have been made. So what happened? You trade AI for Billups, and you go from a mediocre 7th-9th seed with AI running the point in his "street ball, run whatever play i want for myself" style of basketball, to a smart, efficient, team player in Billups, and hit the 2nd seed, West finals, and if it wasn't for the Lakers... Denver would have won it this year.

He's done. Drop it.
