yeah Kobe did get away with that Elbow on Nelson, Lakers got this on sunday, win the title on the road.
these last titles won by LA were on the road.
vs Pacers: the only one Lakers won at home
vs Sixers: on the road, Kobe booed in his hometown of Phily
Vs Nets: on the Road, i remember Sarge being at the game for Shaq.

that was a crappy officiating game, call a bunch of fouls then the refs dont call nothing for a while (letting them play ball) then calling some stupid fouls again VanGundy and Jackson said it themselves about the refs.
yeah i seen the Wade interview, i just wondered why ABC didnt interview Boozer either, they dont consider Booze on the level as Wade i guess. some olympic players dont matter.
Thats stupid. I didn't see what Jackson did during the game to get Tech fouled. As for the interview stuff, the NBA wants all this insight into the game with quarter time interviews they should expect if the umpiring is as bad as it was that in the height of emotion truth is gonna be said. Don't fine peole for speaking the truth. It's like you cant criticise the refs at all, you can do it to everyone else on the court but nooo not the actual people controling the game. Ok rant over. :amuse:
i agree. u cant blame anyone but the refs. idk why the nba(stern) is over protective with these refs when they clearly suck. maybe if the get critisized by the players/coach/media maybe theyll get better or get some new refs.
and i was think about that ginobili trade on the table.
wizards get: ginobili/oberto
spurs get: nick young/5th overall
i actually think thisll be a good trade for the spurs in the long run. nick young showed glimpses of what he can do in the league last year and hes got a lot of potential. 5th overall pick is hit or miss since its a weak draft but i think the first 6-7 picks will be solid players.
if manu gets injured this season his trade value dramatically decreases so idk.
and i was think about that ginobili trade on the table.
wizards get: ginobili/oberto

i love this so much more than those amare/jamison rumors. the argentines would improve the D exponentially, and they're winners.
the wizards w/ healthy gilbert arenas were a 40-45 squad. w/out arenas but with brendan haywood coming into his own they won 43. w/ zero and haywood recovered, a lineup of:
* zero + manu + caron + tawn + brendan
* taser bringing his off-ball madness and solid D off the bench
* oberto's great D and flopping ability + the magic developing epic vale's freakishness in the big man corps
the wiz'll definitely finally get back out of the first round and might even taste the conference finals. all they have to do is fire the entire medical staff and bring in whoever's keeping abe pollin alive.
this will never happen, though. too perfect.
