Simple really, there all selfish players excluding camby.

Not to mention Zach has yet to play since Mobley has yet to pass his physical.

iverson is a individual player. thats the type of shit u see at the parks

the reason why kobe is tha best
is because he build his fame by being individual player over the years

so should lebron be playing at the parks?
iverson averages more assists than lebron...
should shaq be playing at parks?
if u get doubled team ur bound to get assists here and there.

thats why it didnt work with the nuggets. they was takin turns shooting the ball so they can get their nobody sacrificed a piece of their game to win. thats why hes been unsuccesful. thats why no other star has thrived with AI around him. he doesnt make the players around him better. just look at the sixers when AI got traded, they looked like a fuckin team. keep tryin to defend ur favorite player

he is my favorite player, which of course leads to some bias, but you are being unreasonable in your half of the debate. in a nutshell, you are saying, allen iverson doesn't belong in the nba. seriously... think about that...

all i said was his style best suits for the parks. rafer alston is a street baller, he changed up his whole style.

iverson had the most success when he was surrounded by a bunch of role players and he carried the scoring load. other stars cant play with AI because there is no ball movemen. it just stops and people watch. AI doesnt make his teammates better. iverson is one of the greatest scores NBA has ever seen...

situation kind of reminds me off marbury. i think marbury was like the only pg to avg 20pts and 8ast but his teams couldnt win. each team marbury left got better. t-wolves/nets/suns... soon to be knicks but they fucked that up by trading randolph/crawford for bron and ???

iverson wants to win so badly that he only trusts himself with the ball. look at him with the pistons, each player stats went down. the wins arent comin that easily.

nuggets got a hell lot better

didnt know that the Clippers are interested in trading Kaman.

Clippers will never win in LA. they'll always be a second banana to the Lakers. they should move to San Diego or Anaheim. then maybe they'll have a chance.

that starting lineup you posted has headaches all over it. randolph and baron and richardson (if that deal goes thru) 3 guys who will want the ball and shoot. if one guy doesnt get his shots then he'll be unhappy. and you dont even know if camby can stay healthy anymore

Just four weeks into the season, we're down to six contenders for the 2009 NBA title: Cleveland, Boston, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Utah and San Antonio. The first three are the favorites; the second three are the long shots. And they have one thing common. Reps.

After sitting a few rows behind their bench for Monday's game against the Clippers, I realized the Hornets' problems went deeper. You can tell from the stands when teams are happy and everyone is on the same page. For instance, I watched the Spurs beat the Clippers without Manu and Parker-Longoria; as long as Duncan and Popovich are around, and as long as they keep building around character guys, things can't splinter for them. That Pop-Duncan foundation is just too strong. You could see it during every timeout huddle, you could see it with how they interacted and supported each other, and you could see it with the way they carried themselves. When Roger Mason drained the game-winning 3-pointer, there was no chest-pounding or pointing to God, just a quiet fist pump and a leisurely walk back to the huddle. It's a professional team in every sense. (yes! LOL)

art, wheres houston at? lmao

D'antoni.

Who knows. He benched his ass for a while when the season started. Maybe Marbury doesn't like him either...
lol, my question is...

Why in the fuck is Marbury still with the Knicks? He tore that organization apart, he shoulda been gone last season...

it wasnt Marbury fault. Isiah is the one who destroyed the knicks with bringing in players and signing them to outrageous deals, players who didnt belong making money. when your way above the salary cap for years and years and deals that were guaranteed. off season came and they couldnt go after anyone, only draft people. the knicks bottomed.

will they get better..yes eventually donnie walsh is gettin them back in the right direction. the knicks are waiting til 2010 for the James/Wade and Bosh sweepstakes. if they get the 7th or 8th seed this season or next they'll take it. that would show there heading toward great years to come.

as far as Marbury he's one that got a ton of money and didnt live to the hype. he's a decent player but yet he's a headache. he dont consider himself a team player he's all about himself. he causes problems on and off the court. doesnt listen to his coaches. he should retire and join Jay-Z and help run the Nets organization

it has been a known fact the teams that have had Marbury traded him off to another franchise. the following year that team has improved their win total by 15 games. *walsh should do the same then New York will improve their win total next year*.

According to MetroNews.ca it is only a matter of time before Steve Nash rejoins coach Mike D'Antoni as a member of the New York Knicks.

MetroNews.ca claimed the rumor is being spread like wildfire by league sources. They predict Nash will be with the Knicks before 2010.

Makes sense, too. Nash already has an off-season home in New York. He plays in a Manhattan soccer league during the off-season. And he has gone on record as saying New York would satisfy his cultural interests and foster his filmmaking desires.

There's also the fact that Mike D'Antoni is the new Knicks coach and used to be Nash's coach in Phoenix, where the point guard and the Suns excelled in a fast-paced system that is being introduced these days in New York.

And, oh yes, the Knicks made two trades last week that cleared $27-million U.S. in their salary cap.

The locker-room revolt against Stephon Marbury became official Wednesday night when Quentin Richardson criticized the veteran point guard for refusing to play against the Pistons and saying of Marbury, "I don't look at him as a teammate."

Marbury declined to play in a 110-96 loss to the Detroit Pistons despite the New York Knicks having just two healthy guards, Chris Duhon and Anthony Roberson. Mike D'Antoni started the night with nine available players, including Jerome James, who hasn't played this season, according to the New York Daily News.

Wilson Chandler was ejected in the final minute of the third quarter, and Richardson played despite injuring his left forearm. X-rays taken after the game were negative, as were Richardson's views on Marbury.

"He hasn't played with us all year," Richardson added. "Regardless of what you have going on with the organization or what you have going on with your coach or whatever. You're not going to allow your teammates to be left out there the way we were basically being left out there. This is directed at us regardless if you're trying to stick it to whoever you're trying to stick it to. At the end of the day we're shorthanded, people are hurt. Once again, I don't pay attention to (Stephon) because I don't look at him as a teammate anyway."

Richardson and Marbury have been long-time adversaries dating back three seasons ago when they nearly fought after a practice. The trouble started when Marbury criticized the Knicks' performance in a loss to the Lakers. Marbury didn't play in that game either.

It was cause for dejection in past Los Angeles Lakers locker rooms, a poor shooting night by Kobe Bryant often leading to a loss. Not so much this season, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Bryant's production is down across the board, but the Lakers are off to a 12-1 start, beating teams by a league-high average of 14.3 points a game.

The Lakers continue to win with ease, even when Bryant has poor shooting nights.

He was five for 17 against New Jersey on Tuesday, but the Lakers won by 27 points. He was eight for 23 against Phoenix, but the Lakers won by 13. He was five for 15 at New Orleans, and the Lakers won by "only" seven. He went eight for 21 against the Clippers, and the Lakers won by 18.

Coach Phil Jackson indicated Bryant would continue to be the obvious focal point of the Lakers' offense, but it was an important development to win when Bryant wasn't hitting.

"We have to have the confidence," Jackson said. "And he has to have the understanding that, 'Hey, if it's not my night, I'll just help other guys go.' "
