It ignores it to the point that it doesnt mention it. I doubt they will dwell on the fuck up that was T3 other than probably have Kate Brewster in the movie and use the Judgement Day date that T3 had. But its not like they will have flashbacks of the gay as fuck She-Terminator or Saginator in it.

This looks bad ass, I am a huge Terminator fan, T1 and T2 are my favorite movies, I loved the games and the comics too. Both movies are just my childhood.

Terminator 3 broke my heart, really, I walked out feeling like I had just been molested. Awful film.

The TV series is alright if you treat it like what it is, a TV show.

Terminator Salvation is a reboot of sorts, it is a new trilogy set in the future war and I can not fucking wait. Seriously. I can not wait. Bale has never disappointed and neither have any of his films, this better rock!

The T-600 from the trailer, this is the model before the T800 and like Kyle Reese said, they are easier to spot, rubber skinned, but pack a mini-gun. Awesome.

how does the tv show ignore T3? it takes place before T3 doesn't it? I don't remember if T3 ever had any actually date mentioned in the film so someone might need to refresh my memory

if you're familiar with the star wars extended universe or any dc comics, you know how different action heros have several continuities for their characters, all on-going at once. it's different artists' interpretations of the overall story. in this case, i think it simply means that you are to view the third movie as an off-shoot, unrelated, "unofficial" story that doesn't have any coherence with the tv series and the two first movies. you're supposed to take it as a fact, regardless of whatever you think implies that it should be in the continuity anyway. lol.

T3 was such a huge pile of shit, I've tried to whipe it away from my memory, but it's a permanient stain.

Apparently, T2 was suppost to end it, Skynet was not gonna happen, but if you remember from the last moments of T1, NOTHING can change the future. Skynet was going to happen one day regardless, so Arine going into the lava only postponed Skynet, and that's where T3 took off.

The show is after T2 and is completely ignoring events that happened in T3, infact I think they even went like 5 years into the future on the show.

Also, they need to really stop with the female Terminators, it's really fucking stupid, and I found none of them hot so far. Yeah, thanks for trying to get me to think about fucking a robot, that's healthy. ;)

It'll be interesting to see what kind of villain there will be in this one.

You can't beat T-1000. One of the most bad ass villains in movie history.

T3 definitely was the biggest disappointment ever but it was a quick money grabber for Arnold before his election.

Well it ignores T3 in the sense that it's in an alternate timeline. This is from Josh Friedman, producer of the TV series.

IGN TV: Are you working within the continuity of the Terminator movies, specifically Terminator 3?

Friedman: We're gonna go off on our own. I think the thing about T3 is, obviously there was just no Sarah Connor and that's something the fans were never happy with. I don't even think the people who made T3 were happy with that. It just wasn't a choice of theirs [...] So I almost think of this as T3. To me it takes the place of T3. But also I think that sort of in the spirit of Terminator, it's an alternate timeline.

i see what you guys are saying now. i always thought that the show was supposed to take place between T2 and T3, kind of fill in the gap and maybe eventually explain how sarah died.
