That poster is FUCKING AWESOME!!!

A new trailer is supposedly coming in a couple of days too.

Why So Serious

Gather with 300 of your closest friends at this exact spot on April 28th.

"You'll need to be in contact with a partner-in-crime who has online access to relay your instructions once you're there. These instructions will give you the TRAIL to follow, but be sure to look both ways when crossing the street; we wouldn't want you to make an unscheduled visit to the ER now, would we?

Put on a smile and plan to spend about an hour or so bonding with your fellow clowns.

Check back here often for updates or changes."

Catch that, "TRAIL" and "ER"

If you visit this site and click on the Joker letter, you'll get a sweet surprise.

My favourite line from the first film: Henri Ducard to Batman: "Well, well. You took my advice about theatricality a bit literally." LOL! A guy dressed as a Bat fighting Ninjas, this is comic book heaven!

^^^yeah. it might be an improvement with gyllenhall (sp?). but, at the same time, i hate when movies change actors, for whatever reasons (either the studio's or the actor's). death, i can understand; i'm pretty sure that The Addams Family series would still be going strong if Raul Julia was still with us. He was a good actor; he could've probably convincingly replaced Katie Holmes.

trailer's tight...if you look closely at the scene with Dent in the car where they show his profile you can see that the other side is burnt...he's Two-Face at that point

i don't know if this has been bosted, but i read that the way they are filming the two-face scenes is that they are filming the dent face doing whatever and then filming the burnt side doing its thing and then splicing it together, so that they act independently of each other.

if done right, that's gonna be awesome

i heard something similar.

the story behind harvey dent in the batman lore is that he was a d.a. with a burning desire to rid gotham of crime. in private, he was a very tense person with anger management problems and a feeling of despair with respects to all the violence. when his face is ultimately burned, seeing his own reflection and being rejected by the woman he loves as a consequence drives him crazy and he goes scizo. he's not a traditional villain, he's a noble and rightous man who has been driven crazy by bearing witness to violence and crime, and goes vigilante. in the movie, if i got it right, they shoot every scene that has harvey dent in it twice. in one shoot, his mind will be dominated by his good-will side, in the other shoot it will be dominated by his darker, evil side. then in the post-production phases they can cut and paste the scenes to best suit the narrative.

i posted an article about it a few pages ago. by now i don't even care about reading about the movie anymore, i am convinced it'll be great.
