I'm back - Mark Deez & DJ Vlad - What Lies Within

#1
Yes. I'm back. I know this forum is full of haters. I always had love for Streethop until everybody flipped the script. IDK if it is the same way that it was when I left, but I have returned with a HUGE UPDATE. The project is still in the works, but be expecting the following:

The mixtape isn't quite done yet. But the following MC's & Producers will be featured:

Ras Kass
Killah Priest
T-Rock (formerly of Hypnotize Mind)
Fish Scales (from Nappy Roots)
Phathom
Reef The Lost Cauze and King Syze of Army of The Pharaohs
Domingo (Produced the track for Ras, for Priest, and for King Syze)
Phiction (Produced many of my solo songs)
Oktaine (www.dachamber.com) (He made a beat, I chose not to have him rap on it)
Ca$hou$ Clay (made a beat and rapped a verse - he's had some local hits)
APlus (from Hieroglyphics)

I will also have some of my local homies on this mixtape. This is the biggest CD for me so far.. So I hope can I get some support.

I love Streethop! Its time I got some love back.

Everyone has heard it...
"If I don't like it I don't like it that don't mean that I'm hatin."

I never liked your shit. You got some big names on this, but, have you changed? If you put some tracks up I'll take a listen and give you my opinion but be gone with that hater shit.

Yes I've come a long with this mixtape. Wait until you hear the tracks I've got. Recording hasn't begun, thats just whats been announced and been paid for. The recording stage is set to begin soon.

The artwork is pretty generic, and that wearing a Scarface t shirt thing has been done to death. But it's a mixtape and not an album so it's all cool.

Isn't it a bit premature to be putting the cover out and making announcements about features etc when recording hasn't begun? I look forward to hearing the tracks with Rass and Killah.

Man, Vlad is making a killing charging for his mixtape hosting service, its like $300 to have him host, he's totally whoring himself.

But yeah man good look post up some audio and good luck with your career.

Aren't you working backwards by putting out the guest spots and the mixtape cover before even recording the songs??? Honestly i've never liked any of your music. But i'll give it a go and listen to it. Although i really hate Vlad bitch ass but watever like a said i will give it a chance. Also are you really recording with Ras Kass and Killah Priest? Or is it some bullshit adding yourself to one of their tracks or adding their pella to one of yours?

I wouldn't pay $5 bucks for him to host one of our projects. The muthafucka straight ganked one of my mixes back when he came on here and Pac Share askin everybody for help gettin Pac pellas. Promising everybody who helped him out a copy of the mixtape but never coming thru and disappearing after he got wat he was lookin for.

^Please don't. Some people you just have to let fade away.

$200 for hosting ha, you're better off uppin the ante and paying Royce $1000 for a verse.

I have all of the beats and all of the verses from every rapper that I have mentioned (waiting on Kass & Priest still). They have the beat for the song and the concept for the track and a written version of my verse to know whats going on. I just bought a slew of new equipment so I haven't recorded anything yet. So really, I'm not working backwards. The cover is definitely a prototype and will be tweaked.

My rap style has changed up a bit, so we'll see if you fellas like it or not.

I wanted a mixtape DJ to host it, so I got DJ Vlad... I'm not a friend of his or anything, it was all strictly from the business side of things.

i've never listened to any of your stuff. i heard it wasn't good. anyways i hate how people tease others with a cover and big names. you should have come back with a few tracks at least. what's the point of trying to get attention if you don't have anything to show?

and please change cover. it's really ugly.

i will give it a listen when you'll post us the links.

^there's no hate. i only hate how people go "i'm gonna do this and that". do it and then show it. it's not a diss directed at mark deez cause i don't know the guy and don't care.

He cant change the way he looks Carmi. :p
nah i mean the whole concept. it's boring and been used so many times. a little creativity here please.

Everytime a old member tries to come back or a new member tries to join in the loop, someone posts some stupid shit for them to leave, STOP it.

If I keep seeing it, I'm gonna hand out bans, temps & permanent.

Good luck with your mixtape and career man. Keep the hustle going, youve been at it for YEARS which shows just how serious you are and I hope you make it.

Peace.
