Crouch scored a nice goal today. I wish he played more often. I guess with the formation Benitez is playing at the moment, it is hard for him to get in.I hope he signs a new contract. You have to give credit because even though he isnt playing that much, he still manages to find the net.

^^I watched Newcastle against Spurs last week. THey were awesome in the second half. Owen is really producing the goods now. All of a sudden its looking good for Newcastle lol

My guess is because he started playing 4 3 3 with Viduka in the middle of Martins and Owen...

Since you can't leave Viduka (a power forward) alone, and you have to cover the two fast guys on each side, it gives much trouble for the defenders to cope in with their attack...

Also, Viduka plays like a Center in Basketball... He recieves the ball from one attacker and gives it to the other. Since he has 1 or 2 guys on him, and Martins easily out runs his defender, they find space easily.

Middlesbrough 2 Man Utd 2. Alves bags his first 2 goals for Boro.

Boro are a hard team to beat these days. I saw them play against Man City earlier in the season and they were just awful. I thought they were serious relegation contenders but they have turned it around.

Oh and Megson is an idiot...he shouldve gone for it against Lisbon. Teams prepare so much for Europe..and he went in to that game with the wrong attitude. Now Bolton will not go into Europe for quite some time.

Nah Middlesbrough have been playing well against most teams recently. They have become a difficult team to play against. Wheater has been a great find for them at the back and Alliadiere is playing well. Tuncay is a good player and they also have Downing, Alves and Mido. If this game was earlier in the season Man Utd would have won easily.

Look, Middlesbrough beat Arsenal and drew with them.Chelsea and Liverpool were both lucky to beat them recently and they also drew with Liverpool. Man Utd hammered 4-1 earlier on in the season. I honestly think that you Man Utd supporters expect every team to come out a lie down to Man Utd every time and take a hiding like those losers Aston Villa did last week. Im sorry but it doesnt work like that.

Is it a coincidence that Man Utd concede 2 goals when Vidic is injured? Ferdinand hobbled off today with about 20 minutes to go.

Hence the big teams part? 'Boro have been known to turn up when its against the big teams, they beat Chelsea 2 seasons in a row, once they beat Man Utd 4-1 and Arsenal they beat last season also I believe..3-1 or 2-1..(mightve been the season before as I think Reyes was playing)...but lose to Aston Villa 3-0 at home the next week...
