Panucci was bowled over by his own keeper and ended up being outside the lines anyway, if I recall correctly. But yes, massive fuck-up on the referee's part for not stopping the play in the Lyon game.

Football's refereeing system is archaic anyway. It sucks major balls.

Ehehehehe, you'll have to agree there's quite the difference between the two situations. The Lyon thing was just classless, the Holland-Italy thing was a rule no one knew of. I still remember Nistelrooy's face as the call came in and the goal was approved. He looked like he saw water burning, hahaha.

In any case, the rule that got us that goal at the Euro's is silly. Just rule it offside to prevent confusion.
