Anyone else cop this yet? It's pretty good, although the lack of James Iha is very obvious.

Good album though for sure.

Smashing pumpkins was James Iha..
And this album is a clear representation of that. It's just not a pumpkins album without Iha.
So i'm with Little Skittle and think it blows!

Why? There's a few good songs on there. I don't miss D'Arcy, but I do miss James though.
It's just totally different from what I expected I think. Maybe my expectations were too high because it's the Pumpkins. I was looking for another Mellon Collie, and that's not what we got. There's nothing I can see myself still listening to in 10 years, while in 10 years I'll still love Tonight, Tonight , BWBW, 1979, Disarm, etc.

Word. I can dig that. I'm not finding Zeitgeist to have much replay value either. Still digging 2 or 3 songs. But yeah, it's certainly no Mellon Collie or even Siamese Dream.

It's not really the Pumpkins, I guess....it's Billy and Jimmy. They definately needed James back. D'Arcy not so much, I actually like Melissa Auf Der Maur a lot better.
