Anyone else cop this yet? It's pretty good, although the lack of James Iha is very obvious.

Good album though for sure.
 
Why? There's a few good songs on there. I don't miss D'Arcy, but I do miss James though.

It's just totally different from what I expected I think. Maybe my expectations were too high because it's the Pumpkins. I was looking for another Mellon Collie, and that's not what we got. There's nothing I can see myself still listening to in 10 years, while in 10 years I'll still love Tonight, Tonight , BWBW, 1979, Disarm, etc.

Word. I can dig that. I'm not finding Zeitgeist to have much replay value either. Still digging 2 or 3 songs. But yeah, it's certainly no Mellon Collie or even Siamese Dream.

It's not really the Pumpkins, I guess....it's Billy and Jimmy. They definately needed James back. D'Arcy not so much, I actually like Melissa Auf Der Maur a lot better.
