well, not a great ending, but i can't say i was surprised they ended it like that. no matter which way they went tho, there would have been people who would have been unhappy. poor Phil lol, did they have to kill him off so brutally, and right in front of (and directly under) his grandkids? oh well, there are worse ways he could have gone out, they coulda killed him off on the crapper like Gigi lol.
ok, so now that it's all over, what would you say was the best season of the show overall? for me it was the second season. they did a beautiful job throughout the entire season of building up tension and leading you along. David Proval's Richie was the perfect menace for Tony, and just when you think you know exactly what everything is leading up to, they throw a swerve in there that you never saw coming to resolve the entire situation. plus all the side stories were brilliant (Pussy working for the feds, Christopher and his 2 proteges, as well as his movie career plans, the introduction of Furio, etc.), and a great guest appearance from Robert Patrick to top it all off. you can't get any better than that. the show was great after the second season, but it never reached that peak again imo.
best episodes: Guy Walks Into A Psychiatrist's Office, The Happy Wanderer, Bust-Out, Knight In White Satin Armor, Funhouse.
