They are calling this the "healthy" Amy Winehouse

So her drug addiction killed her within five years, or so, of starting?

Possible, but unlikely, usually a person doesn't OD in the first 5 years of using. What happens is, they get cocky and think they can take more and think that they are in control when they know they are not.

A healthy drug addict means, she got her weight back to where it's supposed to be and she's eating regularly and sober for 1 month.

As far as those veggies and fruits, who the fucc would eat that!?

A drug addict can OD at any time. Depends on the drug and the method of taking the drugs. It's a lot harder to OD when smoking Heroin compared to IV.

Amy Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning. Which isn't commonly referred to as an OD, even if you could classify alcohol as a drug.

Not all drug addicts have to be skinny though. I have a friend who has done Heroin for 15 years. He is 6'3 and hench.

To summarise.... We don't know how long she was on drugs for, as she could look healthy and be caning the H. But... She didn't OD anyway.

I see. I already saw videos highlighting the stuff on it. Seems to be more for N4 users. Like the screen being more responsive, which was an issue before. Not gonna use those developers tools.

Coon shit. I was hoping it was going to be somewhat big. Maybe a medium sized update. Certainly no 5.0, but...

Sidenote, you think the S3 will get 5.0 officially? Surely CM will support it anyway.

The S3 is supposed to get at least one more update. The S4 at least 2 updates. Only the S2 will be left at Jelly Bean (4.2.2). It doesn't matter if the next update is big or small - that's how Samsung's devices life cycles are planned. They're also commited to giving at least 18 months of firmware support too, so if a new huge update comes before that period they'll likely deliver it.
As Google releases updates approx. once a year now I guess the S3 will get this year's update but might not get next year's update (although Samsung are known for generosity with their updates so who knows).

I was also hoping for a huge update. I'd also like Google to refresh the UI a little bit and add features (not bloatware) to it. Also, improve multitasking management. I like being in control of what's working on my phone and using precious resources, but handling it in current Android is still very cumbersome.
I'm at a weird point where I prefer Samsung's skinned Android because of dozens of little things that are missing in stock Android and I'd have to install apps for those - with Samsung I get them out of the box. Whether it's battery percentage, flashlight button or customizable notification toggles - I used to complain about bloatware but with skinned Android I'd need at least a couple of apps less because that functionality is already implemented.

On Nexus 7 I have 4 apps installed just to do things that come with S4 out of the box, and N7 is just a tablet.

Another weird thing is, that skinned Android from Samsung is actually faster and less power-hungry than stock Android - the Google Play version of S4 lasts a few hours less than the international version, despite packing the same hardware. It means that Samsung managed to include optimizations that Google did not. And they're much needed.

Which is why I'm wondering why I'm still using CM. I guess I like being a few minor updates ahead of stock with root, but.... I heard that even pictures taken with TouchWiz are a bit better than on CM because of some stupid drivers not available to CM. Something like that. Is that true?

I think it was Pitts and Sofi talking about it but I;m pretty sure the Fitbit Flex will work with the Nexus 4 once it gets 4.3 since it will have bluetooth 4.0 capabilities.

I don't know, but it's possible. Also, I'm sure the TW camera app has its own optimizations. For sure it has better auto and more shooting modes/settings than the stock camera app.

I guess it's kinda stock with whatever improvements they could add. Some things in CM are generic, some are optimized for the specific phone. I can't really tell about CM for the S3 and S4 because I barely used CM at all - and I used it for a while only on a Sony Ericsson phone.

CM for the S3 has not yet reached a stable build. All you can find are nightlies, experimentals and milestones. But even with milestones, I think there's only one so far, unless another was released the past couple of weeks.

And CM incorporates several features that stock does not. I never used stock android, but so I was informed when I started contemplating trying CM. I'm still on it, but I too thought about restoring TouchWiz, though it won't be until it gets a 4.2 update.

Damn, now I've got a decision to make. I think the Sprint S3 is at 4.1, or something like that. I'm on 4.2.2. Gotta decide what features are worth keeping or losing now. Because the camera is actually a big issue for me. The phone is plenty fast either way.

I dunno how you fuckers who study fields with computers don't get distracted. I've checked Reddit and FB prolly 100 times combined today. Just because my exam is on a 420 PowerPoint slides that are just chilling in the background.
