^werent u on a diet or something?
Haha, yeah, a bit. It was on and off. I actually started it this week again and plan to stick to it now that the weather is warmer and I can no longer hide my fatty fat behind my sweatshirt.
Rukas and a few others mentioned the keto diet and I've been reading a ton about it since October and managed to do well with it for a bit but then I stopped. So basically my diet today was a salad with avocado, tomatoes, cheese, and cucumber with about a bowl of mixed fruit....frozen fruit, lol, but it's my favorites like pineapple, mango, strawberries and peaches. More or less this
Also a piece of frozen buffalo chicken tender.
I also used a good bit of chipotle dressing on my salad, since the diet is heavy in fat and protein, as opposed to carbs. I'm still not sure how many carbs I should be eating but as a big boy, it shouldn't be much to begin with. I try to keep it under 30, which is really easy so long as I keep my craving for soda and rice at bay.
And then for dinner is when I eat a piece of fish, like salmon. I need to find a substitute for rice and pasta, and I'm not sure if whole-wheat will suffice to eliminate the "empty" carbs. They do have more fiber, though, so that should help some.
Now I'll need to step up my exercise regiment a bit too. I'm trying to stick to about 20-30 minutes of a steady pace of walking a day. Early in the morning to also start using some of the glycogen in my muscles. I feel like I'm real close to becoming diabetic and this diet is also supposed to be diabetic friendly, because of the low-carb intake. But it's really meat and fat heavy, like I mentioned before, so even though I love meat and feel that I can't live without it, I'll need to be a bit more picky over the meat I eat.
