Sure. I have about 50 left. I haven't taken any. I only use them when I fly. But... Someone at work has run out. They have a doctors appointment to refill, just after the holiday. I was being tight and didn't want to give any of mine away...

My dad is going to London for the weekend, to get his visa renewed or some shit. He's asking if I want anything. Can't think of anything. We get Jaffa Cakes here, which are my favorite. Milk buttons, I lost interest in them when I turned 10. He usually brings some Chicken Tikka curry jar from Marks, but we get similar stuff here too.

Might just have to stick with the usual "nothing" if he asks again. Any suggestions?

Me, either. And I don't use torrents and share my IP with 1000s of people, either. Nor do I upload any data, which is where they get you, like you do with torrents. Torrents are very 2005.

They seem to be cracking down in other countries. Not really in the States. Haven't heard of anything from the RIAA in years. Plus, I don't download much since I have Netflix. I do get TV shows, but I think that's probably on the very bottom of the totem pole of people they go after. I'm sure music, movies, and even software are caught first.

When I was on the island, I got 3 MB/s download speeds and there was never any mention of piracy. I don't think the government gave a shit. That's when I did most of my downloading. I'd rather not pay for newsgroups if everything is just out there.

As far as IPs go, again, the 100s of gigs I've downloaded were mostly over there. They can go after a resort of 100+ people. I'm long-gone. At home, I've stuck to Netflix and if I need software, I use warez forums. Same for ebooks. At home I get about 1.2 MB/s, which is enough for me. Biggest thing I downloaded was an updated navigation DVD for my car which was 8GBs.

Filestube + Jdownloader, thank you. Plus, it's legal and fine in most countries unless you download some illegal shit. And you can buy shared premium or use a premium site downloader (like gturbobit) for speeds only limited by your net connection.

People are still being sued, it's just not big news anymore. It is true the RIAA has stepped back a bit because now them and major corporations are taking the smart route of trying to pass legislation like SOPA to fuck with us.

SOPA got knocked down a year ago. I think there are enough people on the internet that know about this shit that if and when a petition is put out like that, they take action. That's how SOPA was stopped in its tracks.


Why are we arguing about this shit? I am not lacking anything right now with what I use. I'm set on software, TV shows, movies, and other miscellaneous shit.
