Lol just realized I asked about mega twice in this thread.

Part of the "problem" is, it's nothing more than Dropbox, but more shady.
You have to pay for storage and don't get paid for downloads your files get anymore. This doesn't sound like a host of choice for file uploaders. But we'll see. It'd like it to work.

Part of the thing with Mega is you get 50GB free storage. You _don't_ have to pay for it.

yeah, I'm not going to trust my personal files to that guy. he made a living off me downloading porn and tv shows. If file uploaders start using it for the same things, fuck it, I'll download from it. But I won't sign up and put my stuff up there.

I'm not sure how you used Megaupload, but yeah, I wouldn't trust my personal files to anyone. I would keep them on my computer and live with having to use physical media to move them. But Megaupload (and Mega) will be good for movies. I remember a lot of 2Pac leaks that came in wav quality were on Megaupload, and soon as it got taken down you could only find MP3 rips because no one could be bothered to upload one wav after another to, say, Zippyshare. I'm praying for a new day!

Edit: Maybe Megaupload allowed this for their users, but when I click Mega-links, I can choose to download or to import the file to my own cloud storage. Insanely convenient.

Yeah you can do that with most storage services now. But I just dl'd that file and speed topped out at 900 kb/s, I'm positive it would have gone higher if it were a larger file like a movie. It took like 3 seconds for the page to load because it unencrypts it in a way. When you sign up only you have the ability to see your files cus of encryption and when you share your files you share your key in a round about way even though there is no way of anyone being able to get it... I'm tyring to explain it I hope it makes sense. All in all, mega is some cool shit

I fractured the talus in my ankle last night, I also have a torn ATFL and my calcaneofibular ligament is partially torn. I was playing basketball and came down on someones foot and my ankle inverted over and everyone around heard cracking and other weird noises lol. It hurt a lot. It's a pretty typical injury, well the parts I injured are, not the severity. I go back on saturday to see if surgery will be needed among other things. As of now I'm in a walking cast and I have some crutches. I'll probably go get a cane though, just for pimp purposes

I've been having left knee problems lately. It starts hurting when I walk for more than 5 minutes at a time and hurts when I walk down stairs. The bottom right side of it feels tender when I touch it. I think cause of Crossfit but it only started hurting after I took like two weeks off from Crossfit while on the East Coast.

I hear about more about people getting injured from crossfit than any other type of workout program there is. People just do too much weight with some of these new movements they've never done. People should use very light weight and concentrate on technique first but usually that's not what happens. Especially in the atmosphere of a crossfit gym, everyone is all encouraging and shit, telling you to do more and more. I have no idea if this is what happened in your case sofi I'm just generalizing

Yep. You upload a file, and you can choose to share a link that no one can do shit with unless you also give them the key. Which means I could upload something, post a link on a forum, and only give the key out per request through private messages, Facebook, or other places, making it harder to trace the file back to me.

It's nothing special though. There are services that aren't shady that offer you plenty of free storage and superior file management.
I have more with Dropbox for free (for example you get EXTRA 50GB for things like owning an SGS3 or HTC phone), Box.net gives away 50GB or 25GB quite frequently, Skydrive gives you 25GB for free etc.
