Google better step it up with the nexus phones otherwise I'm fleeing to the iPhone. I love the deeper integration with twitter and fb. I feel like most software firms are developing good relationships with apple while they're feeling hateful towards google because google is competing at everything.

also, let's summarize my phone usage:

1. making calls
2. texting
3. tweeting
4. facebooking
5. taking pictures
6. reading news, checking sports scores

android does none of those things better for me right now.

This is up there in terms of gayness as having a penis in your mouth. I do not have a facebook app on my phone.

I do have tweetdeck though. As there is a decent amount of information on twitter. But facebook is a load of people posting how cool they are, what stuff they have, where they are going on holiday and how clever their kids are. I have no interest in that.

Facebook is lame as fuck. I have to use it to maintain brand pages but I actively dislike it. Twitter is way better.

When I do use it - I'm within another app and use the Android share button to share whatever it is to Facebook - a feature that isn't available on iOS.

Anyway, Apple announced iOS 6 and their fans can feel all smug about it for exactly 17 days until Google I/O starts and Google proceed to lay the smack down once again.

I think it is slowly becoming that way though. I hear a lot of people dropping their iphones for an S3 at the moment. I think Samsung has done an Apple and marketed their phone to success. It isn't as good as they are making people believe, although I am picking mine up, tomorrow. lol... I also think people are starting to see how much better android is.... The message is finally getting through. In my circles anyway.

The Android app is almost like the iPhone app. I can't see major differences except for the fact that the Android one sends me piece of shit notifications all the time. And I use my Facebook app once in a few weeks, so this annoys me that I get a notification because someone decided to share something.

Facebook integration is the worst shit ever, trust me. It comes from a person with a phone that originally had Facebook integration. It's the no.1 reason why Sony users root their phones. You can actually "like" a photo in your gallery, or a song that you're listening to. What the fuck.

Making calls and texting is far better than on Iphone. Most of all there are custom apps for that, and custom keyboards.
The rest.. it appears to be the same or similar and with Android you get more options.
Also, I'm sure that you often do things you couldn't do on an Iphone. Like.. hook up your phone via USB to transfer files, or send them wirelessly maybe? Or have the information/news/scores displayed on a widget maybe? Just sayin, you seem to be the devil's advocate, kind of like Coonie in this thread which is ehtier that or trolling.

According to Gizmodo, it is "completely devoid of useful information".

no, it's more that i'm not honest with myself. every time i use an iPhone, I love it, and yet I keep telling myself that android is better.

So.... Got my S3... Currently, I fucking hate it. But... That is because of Touchwiz. Looks like shit compared to my old rom. Give me a couple of days and I will report back on my real feelings.

But.... A lot of people must hate the android experience thanks to manufacturer customisations.
