There's a limit to what problems money can solve. I'm definitely not one to think kids from well-off families have it easy. If they did, they wouldn't be such miserable pill-popping, suicidal creatures. I credit Wes Anderson, Noah Baumbach, and Whit Stillman for that enlightenment.
But I wholeheartedly reject the idea that he implied with that student comment. It's still not the same, even if having money while you're living in a dorm won't get you laid more than the guy who doesn't. It's still different.
