This is my thread

It makes sense. Everyone I know who has gone into med, with the exception of one guy, is a mega dud.

I can't imagine physicians today being like this in medical school. They claim it's a "noble" profession, but very few of these people can be considered "noble" at all. What kind of doctors will they be?

I've already realized this super-conference of a group is one big soap opera. It's amazing to watch Rome burn, so long as you're not in one of the buildings burning. Watching from afar as it all goes to shit just makes you bust out the popcorn and take a study break to watch it all come down.

The beefs between people would be amazing to document. They'd be the best short stories you ever read.

It doesn't.

But Coonie get this. Spent my Saturday watching the Mets, right? Two out, bottom nine, two on for SF, Mets up 4-2. Routine pop up to Ruben Tejada. Nope! Drops in, 4-4. That's life in the orange and blue.

Really? You're gonna complain to a Cubs fan? The White Sux pitcher just threw a perfect game. The Cubs have done the exact opposite, losing games by 6-plus runs...all the time.

Fuck them.

Yes I am gonna complain to you, because of THIS: that White Sox pitcher's name is Phil Humber. He is the 21st pitcher in history to do what he did today. One of MANY one time Mets to do so--we traded him as part of the package for Johan Santana. BUT IN 50 YEARS, NO MET HAS EVER PITCHED A NO HITTER. EVER. The baseball gods are really fucking with us on this one.

Also, SOFI, something very special happened in your city today. Can you tell me what it was? I'll bet Coonie can.

I want to say it's the 50th anniversary of the Space Needle and the 1962 World Fair but for some reason I get the feeling you're talking about something as insignificant as baseball.

Perfect games are special, bud, with or without your concern.

do you like that black rebel motorcycle club song? i downloaded the album. will peep it later. i feel that this song is the only one i'll like though.

I don't like it very much, no. I am back on Google+ though. I just asked Casey if he wanted to do a hangout with you and me, but he apparently lives in a place where it's 3AM right now. Retarded, I know.

I can either stay in bed and read Marilyn Manson autobiography or drink beer and watch ufc.

Future hit his peak before his debut album. That goes for most rappers nowadays like Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Mac Miller, etc. It is almost guaranteed that Big KRIT won't top KRIT Wuz Here and Return of 4Eva with his Def Jam debut. Kendrick Lamar might have a commercially successful debut (Section.80 was a mixtape according to him, I believe) but I'm not sure about him exceeding the quality of Section.80. Hell, it's debatable if Section.80 topped O.D.

I'm sitting here thinking that I might enjoy myself more by staying in and watching a movie on Netflix than going out and getting wasted. This used to never be the case. Fuck.

Welcome to your mid-twenties. It's nice here, stay a while.
Ahh, my twenties... twas a grand time

I know someone from Seattle that rides Seattle teams' dicks so hard, it's not even funny. He compares the Seahawks to my Bears and he talks shit about the Bulls when the Sonics fucked off from there. He makes every insignificant move made by these teams seem as if that is the last piece the team needs to win a championship, when really it isn't. It's sad.

I don't have the heart to tell him off when he goes on those rants, but when he steps out of line and rags on my teams, I let him know. I feel bad for people like that. The fuck does Seattle have on Chicago? Coffee? Bitch, real niggas do cocaine to stay up.

who is it?
No idea. It's a cover though.

I thought the same. But a google reveals this - The track, amongst many others, was reworked by the Kinks for their 1996 release To the Bone. This version featured in the Sopranos season five episode "Cold Cuts"

Which makes me wonder, if it is indeed Ray Davies and co. Just sound different due to age. I would ask my Dad, but he isn't here right now. And The Kinks are in his top 5 of bands, and obviously he was around when they were at their peak.

Amazon, Nirvana, Hendrix. :)

My friends Wife is from Seattle. She moved to England a few years back, lives on the South Coast - Bournemouth. When we went out for Superbowl, I wore her Seahawks shirt. That's how I roll.

But... I liked The Bears when I was a kid. Although I kind of follow players rather than teams these days.

I'll give you Hendrix and Amazon. He still acts as if the Seahawks loss to the Steelers in the SB some years ago is still relevant today. Which is sad.
