The point is that Tiger Woods is certainly a very very influential figure in his sport but also outside of that. I don't even like golf but I know him. I can't name any other golfers either.

Golf doesn't have the same fan base, it has a fan base of around 400million. But regardless Tiger Woods is possibly one of the biggest (if not biggest) sports athletes.
