Joe Budden Gets Punched In The Eye

So pretty much all of this started because Joe said that he should be higher than Method Man on some stupid ass internet poll...... I dont know if Joe ever mentioned Rae in any of this until he put his two cents in on Meths behalf......
If you ask me it seems as kind of a slap in Meths face for Rae to go to this extent to "protect" his name as if Meth couldnt take care of himself or something......
I understand sticking up for a friend but only when its needed otherwise it kind of makes your friend look weak or Rae is just so starved for attention that he felt he needed to get into to something that initially didnt have a thing to do with him.....
So when Joe says that he is better than Meth does that make him any different than say 50 Cent or Kanye West both of whom proclaim that they're the best rapper ........
I know Joe singled out Meth but if I remember correctly he also singled out a few others as well and you dont see them making it into a big deal......
Like budden or not (and he does run his mouth way too much) he still has a right to voice his opinion whether people agree or not......
Is Rae going at every music critic who ever said they didnt like his or the rest of Wu's music...... I just feel its kind of sad and childish on his part...... Really not too many care about what Joe Budden says anyway, was it really that big a deal......
I understand Wu is a legendary group and they may have felt disrespected or whatever..... But its not like Budden was saying he was gonna give it to Meths wife or talked sh@t about his kids or something......
If this wasnt staged for publicity then its kind of sad..... Actually either way it kind of is.....

The whole situation is just escalating because people keep talking about it. I can understand Wu members speaking in response coz Meth is a member, its expected. I can only imagine more has been said directly to Rae etc for this to get to this point. I can't see this getting to this level without something more being said.
